According to mafia 3 wiki, Olivia killed her husband Lucio so she can get his rackets and place as capos. I guessed Sal and Giorgi found out Olivia killed her husband
I'm just trying to figure out how they found out. But her throat being slit was the very same fate Lucio suffered as well.
Something tells me they probably knew deep down and her loosing Stephen was the last straw and took her out.

Same tbh. I feel like every mission is the same thing; Kill Marcano’s men and take over that racket/territory, or interrogate this man, yadda yadda. I wish we would’ve seen more different types of mission, but the story arc is amazing, and I think the game would’ve been amazing if the mission execution was better. I like the gameplay of Mafia III. It always made it feel better to kill racists

I was wondering. Despite Olivia was killed for all the mess in losing the hold of the district, the business fronts with the rackets, and the nephew is nowhere to be found, the "necktie" to Olivia, did that mean Sal found out who hired some guys that killed his brother?

I didn't need another reminder.
I think he knew deep down but couldn't act on her. Sal's organization is smaller than the empire bay and lost heaven families so he can't exactly cross out a rich lady with her own muscle who might take her side in a war. Her losing control of her rackets probably give him the perfect opportunity to put her down
I went around when the LSD kicked in and goddamn, the guests were whacked AF out of their minds. This is hilarious.

Olivia might've been involved with crime but she was gorgeous, when she got shot I felt kind of sorry for her because it scared her, she only got into that life because she thought it would be thrilling and glamorous, she wasn't expecting such horrific things to befall her.
I don’t. She had her own husband killed and Sal knew it deep down. Sal couldn’t touch her because she had business ties with Duvall who owns the land the casino is built on. Her job was to control Duvall which she failed to do so. And letting DeGarmo get away she became useless to Sal.
@@pottytheparrot310 I knew all that, it was simply her reaction that brought that on, I expected her to be more defiant and cursing Lincoln out for what he did, didn't anticipate the way she'd be so calm after such a heated encounter.
@@pottytheparrot310 I must also admit that I kinda admired Sal just a bit in the way he was looking out for Giorgi, not wanting his son to become what he was, a gangster with no peace of mind living in constant fear of assassination, wanting him to succeed in life with a legit and honest job. Lincoln, in all honesty, was just hellbent on revenge and taking over the city with his own crew, not so much in the way of making things right, but just looking to establish dominance and build his own criminal empire. Really not too many characters I found likable except maybe for Sammy Robinson and Enzo Conti, Sammy seemed to genuinely care about Lincoln and worked to make things better for people in his neighborhood and Enzo turned out to be an old family friend of Sammy's who wasn't afraid to give the mob the finger and get out of "the life" with Lincoln's help. That's my two cents.
@@sethguest781 Sal tried that with Tommy he wanted him to go to college. For me I liked Donovan cause he’s a good partner Enzo cause he’s badass Derazio because he’s a sociopath Tommy because he’s young and smart and Lou because he was a funny moron
@@pottytheparrot310 That's all good and you couldn't be more right about DeRazio, here's what I think made him frightening: The way he remembered names, dates, months, etc., insanely pedantic and keeping meticulous records just like the you-know-who in WWII, ugh. Probably the most loathsome character and most realistic portrayal of a sociopath I've ever seen in a game, the voice actor seemed to really get into character there and make him very threatening and intimidating. I chuckled a bit at Lou, he just seemed more like an old sleaze who just used his position to make money, not bring doom and destruction. Donovan was loyal and knew how those at the top operated and was a valuable asset in Lincoln's case. Tommy just seemed like another ordinary gangster, nothing special.

He didn't kill her, Giorgi did. He confirms it at 24:10

Remember what Sal said? He tolerated nothing more from her, and she fucked up once again, and she was part of the reason he lost that ground. So he let her get killed because of it.
The same reason they've sent a squad on Greco, when Lincoln and Vito were about to snatch him - for losing her territory, dropping the profits down and, most importantly, letting Lincoln to get away with DeGarmo, who was the rightful owner of the land where their casino was being built, before he was forced to sign the land on their name, thus eliminating the legal trouble.

@Lee John right, Mafia 3 was dope. A little bit repetitive but I liked it.
Story telling and character development has always been their money maker, however it's the lack of innovation that's killing this franchise full potential. As great as mafia 2 was, people back then already complained of the empty open world, the mafia worlds are too great not to be revisited again after ending the main story. The ps2 godfather games have more content even than mafia 2 think about that. Even games that came right around the time mafia 2 such as yakuza 5 in 2012 and sleeping dogs in 2013.

I mean I love this game but goddamn... It needed way more polishing and testing. So many bugs and oversights. It should have clothing stores and the ability to mod EVERY car like Mafia II had. Except for trucks and other vehicles of course.

@@DiegoMartinez-ur7gi Yea in my walkthrough I didnt find out Giorgi killed Olivia “ear to ear” all her said was “I did it myself” after Sal asked “who’d you send” while bringing in that hitman, Sal wanted so he could kill Lincoln. I assumed Sal asked who he sent as in who he sent to go get the hitman so he could talk to him. And that Giorgi went and got the hitman himself. Olivia’s district was the second to last one I took

Frisco Fields is supposed to go to Burke...he's best suited for that place, along with French Ward, and Tickfaw Harbor.
