Very well done. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. The most important thing to cooking ground meat is to avoid crowding the pan If you put too much meat in a small pan, it will steam instead of brown. You show how to do it properly, which is with a large pan and a reasonable amount of turkey. Next time, you may want to consider making this point at the beginning, and some viewers may not pick up on it.
And again I ask, what did you make of it from there? 🤔 I've never tried eating Turkey mince just as it is after frying. It's always gone into a bolognese or something else mainly saucey. I don't mind a turkey burger 'Gobble Gobble' How's things in Chicago theses days Melanie 👍😀
@@MelanieCooksRecipes oooo ok. Does ground turkey have a weird texture to you? Or did I just pick a bad brand? I got it from Walmart and it was in a fat sausage shaped plastic thing
@@MelanieCooksRecipes I just finished it. Ground Turkey, chicken breast , organic broccoli and carrots, turmeric, dried powdered egg shells, and 2 eggs.
This is exactly how I make my Turkey ground but even after I put oil or water some parts still come out red. It's so annoying cuz I like my meat well done
I don't even remember which brand was the turkey in the video, I'm not picky about brands and get whatever is on sale. Extra liquid is no big deal, just have it simmer on the frying pan with the turkey and it will evaporate
It’s generally not recommended to wash ground turkey, as it can spread bacteria around your kitchen. It’s best to cook it straight from the package. Cooking it thoroughly will ensure it's safe to eat! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! 🍗✨
Straight and to the point, easy to follow. Thank you!
You are welcome!

How's things in Chicago theses days Melanie 👍😀
That was for turkey tacos! 🌮 Lots of violence in Chicago these days unfortunately…
@@MelanieCooksRecipes Turkey Taco's.... Lol 😂
Do you use ingredients from scratch or the El Paso 'dump in, stir and serve' seasonings and sauces?
dump in, stir and serve 😂
looks scrumptious
Thanks Rob!
Why not preheat the pan?
When you preheat and then add meat, it splatters. That's why I prefer to add to the cold pan, to avoid splatters. The result is the same.

it shouldn't have weird texture. The sausage-shaped brands are usually not the best, I prefer the rectange-shaped ones like Jennie-o
@@MelanieCooksRecipes ok thanks for the suggestions
I am going to start making my dogs homemade food. Turkey, is first ingredient.
Lol your dogs are so lucky!
@@MelanieCooksRecipes I just finished it. Ground Turkey, chicken breast , organic broccoli and carrots, turmeric, dried powdered egg shells, and 2 eggs.
Lol these dogs eat better than most humans (minus the powdered egg shells) 🤣🤣
how many minutes total does it take to cook?
About 7-10 minutes, whenever it's no longer pink
Why not try homemade turkey burgers, darling. They’re delicious!
Yes I make them sometimes, they are so good! 😋
I was hearing the pan before putting the turkey on, and my meat would remain white and turn white. Thank you
You are welcome!
Great, a nice simple video that doesn't go off the rails and start talking about shaving lemons or making your own butter.
I appreciate you liking my style! 🤗

Pink means it's undercooked, you just need to cook it longer, stirring every minute, until none of it is pink.
@@MelanieCooksRecipes ok
How comes you didn't season it as it was cooking?
I like to season after cooking, but you can season before as well, it doesn’t make much of a difference
❤
Thanks!
2024 and only salt & pepper 😭😭😭
Lol feel free to use any seasonings you like, I just show how to cook ground turkey :)
😂😂😂😂 lol
She actually did you sell it pepper?
First timer, is it never cooked or boiled water?@@MelanieCooksRecipes
Some people have allergies to some of those seasonings
Ny 93% lean turkey gives off much more liquid than this. What is all the liquid that I get.
Not sure, probably depends on a brand of turkey
I use Butterball 93% lean what brand do you use. @@MelanieCooksRecipes
