Looks Great what you are doing with Cover! I really hope you will try-seal that bottom seam all the way around? I really think that bottom seam is poorly designed? I realize it’s a lot of work but you will sleep better when it’s done ! Good Luck to you and wife !
Once the Airport is complete we will move the Airstream under cover and we will continue resealing the rest of the lower seam and installing the new flooring. Right now we don’t have any more leaks but as with any Airstream it’s just a matter of time.

Don’t have an Airtream yet. Always wanted one. Your leak episodes was very interesting to watch and set a new “reality” bar for what Airstream ownership means. Not all fun and play. Anyways I have been planning my Airstream Airport and don’t have Airstream yet. I came up with a 36Lx28Wx14H original design to house a 25’ Flying Cloud. Plan would be to use it as a campsite minus sewer hookup in backyard of my home when not on road. What issues did you have with your town pulling permits? Did you hire an engineer to do a set of plans for permit process? What size Airstream are you housing in your airport ,

We hired a local builder who handled all the permits. Since we live in the country we didn’t have to worry about the city requirements just the county. The builder provided all the building plans and is also contracting the concrete for us. I hired a separate contractor to conduct the site prep and they will also build my back driveway once the build is built. I am also in the process of trying to find an electrician and hope to hire one soon. We plan to park our 27’ AS and my truck in the airport with pull-thru access. Hope this helps.
