Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon (ポケットモンスター ウルトラサン・ウルトラムーン Poketto Monsutā Urutora San・Urutora Mūn) are upcoming role-playing video games developed by Game Freak, published by The Pokémon Company, and distributed by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. Announced in June 2017, the titles are enhanced versions of Pokémon Sun and Moon with a modified storyline, similar to previous "upper versions" like Yellow, Emerald, and Platinum. The games are the second installments in the seventh generation of the main series and the last planned installment of the main series Pokémon games for Nintendo 3DS.
The games are set in the Hawaii-based Alola region with an alternate storyline and introduces several new characters, Pokémon, forms, and gameplay features. As with previous titles in the series, the game follows a young trainer in a Pokémon-training journey across the region. The games feature new forms of the legendary Pokémon Necrozma, known as Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma, as version mascots. The games are scheduled for a worldwide release on November 17, 2017, with support for nine languages.

There was this one bum on GTS who said they'd give a shiny Zekrom for a male ditto.

If the GTS trading is the real reason Nintendo did this, that’s stupid. Would’ve been a much easier process to just allow it to evolve into the opposing legendary. It makes sense since you’re in the reverse world. Reverse Lunala is Solgaleo.
It was put in there mostly for the purpose of fusing with nekrozma. But it is handy having an extra to trade.

I assumed it was put in the game to trade to a new game file and you have a legendary early on to be on your team. Maybe this my way of seeing it (and what I am going to do in Ultra Moon after beating Ultra Sun.) But I could be wrong, hell we all could be wrong with our theories.

You kinda made a mistake at 4:21. You said in order for it to work it needs to be night time in ultra moon and day time in ultra sun. It needs to be the other way around. Night time in ultra sun. Day time in ultra moon. Just trying to help out.

@@MariaPerez-yd3yw if you are playing ultrasun then night time if that's what your 3ds is set for. Ultramoon is day time if that is what it's set to. Assuming you set the DS time to whatever time it is where you are.
It should be the same in game as in RL if you play ultra sun. It's the opposite if you play ultra moon
umm he did this IN ULTRA MOON IN NIGHTTIME SO HOW.

Austin, you can use sharp fang (noivern) to keep cutting their hp in half and catch it eventually. I found this to be a safe way as well. And I caught him in a single throw with ultra ball after that.

I have ultra moon and I managed to catch Lunala in a moon ball, which was extremely lucky considering I only had one of them
In pokemon moon, i saved right before battling lunala so I can catch it in a moon ball

Alot of times i watch these videos and i keep hoping "can i get multiple of this in one game finally?" and the answer has always been no, and in a game where the meta is "soft reset to win" you have to get multiple copies of the latest game if you had any hopes of doing more "tournament" level battles, because most the pokemon Nintendo allows you to use in the most "controlled" format of battles for "the most fairness" you can literally use a full team of legendaries...... So i can spend all this time breeding all the pokemon i want but that one pokemon you just "soft reset" for wipes my team. And for me, dealing with legendaries is more of a chore and i end up regretting getting one in a certain nature wanting another in a different and only ever having one of the game. So then i end up having a legendary that's "tournament legal" that cannot do a funtion i want it to do unless i get another copy of the game to get another of the legendary.
As a side note, if anyone even reads this, i had thought up this GREAT idea on how Nintendo/Game freak can allow players to get multiple of each legendary per game (but won't) by actually using the Unown. I'd link a video here but no one else cares or likes this idea and i currently do not know how to make a video. So the short of the idea is this: You have to have 5 specific letters of Unown in your party and interact with a "strange ancient device" that could just be an "Arceus" for all intensive purposes that you cannot actually capture nor battle. Then the 5 Unown are actually "consumed" if they match a "legendary code" and Arceus "creates" the legendary. At this point you have the oppurtunity to go back to a PC, come back, and battle and potentially capture the Legendary pokemon. And as long as you have the Unown, you can continually do this (perhaps once a day for the "creation").
But what do i know, making people purchase multiple games gets them more money even if it's an inconvieniant way for people to get multiple of the legendaries.
Problem is, Unown are only available in ORAS in which you can farm an unlimited amount. And it already has nearly every legendary (Gens 2-5), the "codes" would drop the value of legendaries as they would be even easier to get than they are now, as well as more common.

For the people who don’t understand it, if you’re playing Ultra Sun then you need to go to Altar of The Sunne (at nighttime, daytime for Ultra Moon (or just change the time settings of your ds), then go to the reverse world and save on the Altar of The Moone (in Ultra Moon, save on the Altar of The Sunne), after you saved you put your time back to the normal time, then save your settings, then open your game and continue to go to the Lake of The Sunne/Moone and when you arrive at the end of the lake, you will see your legendary cry towards the sky.
The reverse world does not come up at the alter.
I went on the gts and I looked for a lunala and there was someone looking for a male ditto

Just play alpha or omega u actually cant miss out on getting him since he is needed for the post game u have to catch him and as long as they have not removed alpha or omega from pokemon bank so u can get him in sun and moon then just move him over again to ultra sun or ultra moon

yes, I do realize that but Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon might have been someone's first game so they went to this video plus the legendary is in a different place now so this was a good guide to show people where it is and also people just didn't know what to do since now there's options on where you want to go in the Ultra Wormhole so.

I didn’t have to evolve my Cosmog, the very first option just wanted the preevolution
i tried this in UM in the reverse world and it became lunala. i thought it was because i was in the reverse world but it was because nintendo was too lazy to make it so you can get solgaleo without trading

Thats what i did in ultra sun and it worked for me
It needs to be sogaleo not dusk mane necrozma
Game time at night in sun
You also need to make sure that when you reach the altar, Necrozma and Solgaleo or Lunala are not fused otherwise it won’t work.
I don't know if this happens on all games but the cosmog I got at the altar in pokemon sun had 5 IV at 31 so It might be better to trade the Solgaleo from the story, whose IVs where not as good, and to trade only after you unlock the judge function
So, in gen 2 there were park balls, and I'm pretty sure there have been plenty of other balls that don't exist in sword or shield.
I'd love to see a video where you transfer Pokemon in these balls forward so we can see what happens.

The forms of necrozma. Necrozma Dawn Wings or Dusk Mane. Fuse your necrozma with solgaleo or lunala, and then you can go to the reversal world.

I evolved my cosmoem in ithe reverse world when it was daytime and it still evolved into lunala instead of solgaleo...so now I have 2 lunalas

It’s a couple years later. I’m about to repurchase ultra sun because I never finished it. Since Pokemon Home is coming out, I’m going to buy Pokémon Bank, get Solgaleo and Necrozma, then I’ll put my Cosmog into my Shield data. For people who didn’t know, Cosmog will evolve into Solgaleo in Sword, and Lunala in Shield.
