Happy Sunday, July 7th everyone! Tropical Storm Beryl is expected to re-strengthen to a CAT-1 or CAT-2 hurricane before making landfall in Texas on Monday morning! Hurricane-force winds, significant storm surge, and major flooding will be possible. Make sure to stay updated on this storm over the next few days!
michigan is gonna have strong winds this wednesday and thursday? thank you hunter.
@@jeffmarks1996 No mainly heavy rain and potential for flash flooding by Wednesday.
@@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts oh. just heavy rain and flash floodings
Cypress, TX already got the derecho back in May which knocked over major power lines and spawned a couple tornadoes just a few miles west of me. I really dont want to lose power for a week again 😭
Even if Beryl remains a tropical storm, it still sounds bad!!!
Yes, it will be bad still, but if it met our worst-case scenario, the damage would have been comparable to Katrina.
@@Redpoppy80 The most concerning thing about this all, is that it's still so early.
@@DementiaDonwhat are you talking about Hurricane season starts around the beginning of June & ends towards the end of November
@@DementiaDon Too true.
@@scarzofmayhem5263 Beryl is a record making hurricane. Hurricane season doesn't get really active until around mid-august to September.
I'm always in my safe space.
San Antonio, Texas, get a spit here and there. Lol ☺️
Thank you ❤
You’re welcome!
Some of that rain needs to shift East for Southeastern Ohio, it's very dry here. My yard is showing significant brown spots already from the lack of rain in the last month.
Awesome video. 😊👍
Thank you!
@@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts Your welcome. 😊
Stay safe everyone on the Texas and Louisiana coast.
Happy Sunday Hunter.
Happy Sunday! Thanks for watching.
@@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts You're welcome 😊
@@seH2i I'll keep you updated on the weather throughout the entire year. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
Well all Oklahoma will see is rain which is what we need to cool it off some.
It's only a Cat1... flooding a few tornados possible. Nothing we Texans haven't see every other year it seems.
Careful
Yes! Hot here 102! C Oregon has fires all over our area! Closest fire to me put out quickly burned 250 acres! We thankful not lose our airport & the ranches! Thank you Hunter!
Make sure to stay hydrated!
It's raining buckets 🪣 😅 here in Wisconsin. Yuck!
So far, the entire state of Wisconsin is not in drought. The rain is keeping the drought from developing since it's warmer this time of year and the soil tends to dry out quickly with the higher sun angle and warmer temperatures.
Feed strays...wildlife under cover and safe...protect life!
Try not to drive.
Not too bad. Only a one. Still must take precautions such as boarding up and dealing with flooding.
Hello Hunter Happy Sunday. Thank you for all the updates as always very helpful information. Stay awesome. Peace
Thanks for watching!
Ty
No problem! Thanks for watching.
Happy Sunday, Hunter.I hope you are handling things in stride. Greg. 😊.
Thank you! Happy Sunday to you as well.
im on the coast right by Surfside TX. Looks like it's going to go right over us pretty much. Cat 1 isn't too bad, been through quite a few cat 1s and its going to blow through quick.
It’s going to bring a lot of rain and storm surge.
Hurricane Beryl is headed up this way to Michigan...???? Should I be freaking out...??? 😭😰
It's not going to be a hurricane once it reaches Michigan. It'll likely be a strong low pressure system producing very heavy rainfall and possible flash flooding across parts of Michigan by Wednesday.
Just be yourself.......ooops
@@WeatherOnTheGoForecaststhat happened to us here in Indiana with hurricane Ike. The storm's remnants caused our Calumet river to swell and caused flooding.
Ever notice every storm there is always an idiot who hydroplanes.😅@@privatecaller1418
Are you serious??? Beryl will turn towards the Northeast either before leaving Texas or soon after.
How can it be 19.6k views and only 800 likes. Come on people.
I’ve never see. A depression go that far inland
I can't wait for a cool, dry, tranquil weather pattern in nw Ohio for an extended period of time
I live in Indiana. Should I be worried?
Yes, but not about this storm
@@samwilson2797
Why?
I could see flooding in Detroit
Are we still talking about a dangerous heat wave with 90 + degree temperatures next week
A heat wave will build across the United States next week. Exactly how intense the heat wave will be is uncertain. I’ll keep you updated.
It will cause problems east of San Antonio, but nothing like the coloration is representing.
I was very close frome hitting Beryl i live in northern new jersey
San Antonio Texas could use some rain would be nice. 😊
Haven’t finished the video yet but what your opinion on the tornado risk for Shreveport/Bossier?
A 5% chance for a few tornadoes around Shreveport area throughout the day on Monday. I wouldn't rule out a strong tornado.
Toledo? 😰
Toledo, Ohio could get some heavy rainfall Tuesday night into Wednesday. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches will be possible.
I saw my state in red but when I watch3d this video, did not say anything about that.
The red is the general track of Beryl which makes landfall in Texas Monday morning.
is tropical depression beryl pose a threat for 40 mph wind gusts and intense rainfall here in chicago?
That part of the forecast is low confidence as of right now. The heaviest rain may stay just southeast of Chicago. But overall, Chicago could have a couple inches of rain by the middle of the week if the storm moves far enough north. I'll keep you updated!
@@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts okie dokie!
We're dead in the middle of the path in Tyler TX, is it gonna be nuts by then?
Oh my GOD......your going to get a sustained breeze and rain.
A Category 2 hurricane at maximum strength is possible as Beryl makes landfall in Texas on Monday morning. Very heavy rainfall, significant storm surge, and major flash flooding will be possible.
Galveston is on the bad side...
@@n5ifiit’s fighting to reform the eye at the moment.
Ok i'm a little nerovus should I prepare up here in erie michigan?
Michigan will just get heavy rain and potential for some flash flooding. It won’t bring any strong winds or anything like that.
Like any other time we were in a path of remnants of hurricanes in the past @WeatherOnTheGoForecasts
What is ohio going to get
Northern Ohio could get a couple inches of rain. Southern Ohio probably not much, if any rain from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl. Heavy rainfall is most likely between Tuesday night and Thursday morning for Northern Ohio.
This hurricane is named Beryl is pronounced
Burr-earl not
Barrell.
Everybody is
pronouncong the name incorrectly!
It’s being pronounced correctly!
Wrong. The name Beryl is pronounced 'barrel'. Not sure where you get burrel from. My aunt is named Beryl. Barrel is exactly how it is pronounced. And everybody knows that except you.
I worked with a lady named Beryl and she pronounced it Barrell. Of course that is in CT.
