- First, I cross the border into Uganda, in Africa, and then I ride to Kapchorwa, around Mount Elgon, a very hilly area.
Finally, as I reach my destination for today, I quickly find a girlfriend, and lose her very fast.

We are many Ugandans supporting Yves. Obviously with internet being better in Kenya and cost of it astronomical in Ug, will not win many pals in Ug. He’s welcome. He chose the worst entry on a bike on Elgon ranges, wow. Hope he makes it to Mbale or Soroti in one piece.
It’s scary enough in a car both going uphill and downhill on those ranges. Part 2 after Kapuchorwa is going to be intense. Cannot wait.
Yeah thanks to the 500ksh ugali video that went viral it was all over social media 😂

😂😂😂😂😂
@@l.harris6955 kweli
In kenya the internet is cheaper, easy to access and faster.
Kenya made you gain over 80k subs during your stay...speaks volumes on digital transformation. what a marvellous and touristic country!
Indeed, good for Kenya. Let’s see Uganda, No Eletric, a mountain to climb to register phone, the expense is astronomical
Entering Uganda after Kenya is like entering third world.
Uganda is a very good country. I loved it over there.
On ticktock, the whole world now knows that if they want to trend they just need to mention Kenya. We are always online . Unemployment + good internet
which border is that, it look abandoned
Kenya is a beautiful country and the people are hospitable. Greetings from Croatia🖐
Greetings.. welcome to Kenya anyday
Kudos
Appreciation to Kenha for maintaining our roads, Kino Yves had a great ride on Kenyan highway's.😊
Apart from the bumps.
@@iNduati just speed bumps, which are necessary
If only our "thieves"would stop vandalism of road signs, maybe those bumps would be removed.

I think you became an official hero of Kenya! Great video Yves.
Uganda is very green and lush. And good to see they are also improving the roads. East Africa is beautiful 🙌🏾
Unfortunately that maybe one of the good roads you’ll see. That area is sparsely populated. Indeed it’s beautiful and our food great.
That circling is dangerous to your knees,,,I don’t see how you are going to reach Cape Town,,
@@Inagole4233he has been to many dangerous roads from France. But he succeeded
@@fegow-farmland8399 you can’t count how many times he got a scare on Kenyan roads compared elsewhere,,

I really enjoyed the Kenya series. All the best with the rest of your adventure. Safiri salama 🇰🇪🇺🇸
Africa the most beautiful continent in the world😍
Because of the people there. Viva Africa
The good thing about Kenya is that there was no or very minimal language barrier, very easy to interact with locals... NICE
It will be easier in Ug cos they speak English all of them
Uganda speaks more English than any of the other east african countries including Kenya.
Colonial language

Great adventure, continue spreading the Kiswahili vibe Yves. 🇰🇪 already misses you and wishes you an awesome journey 👋
Funny how the vibes died the moment you entered Uganda.Kenyans are more outgoing and extroverted.I have found Ugandans a bit reserved.Kenyans are also very welcoming with beautiful smiles.Any way,we are still following you all the way to cape town🇰🇪🇰🇪♥️♥️.
Bad energy you😅
Stop comparing Kenya to uganda and uganda to Tanzania we are all Africans I Don't hear England saying they are better than France or Germany is better than Italy 😊

Great to see u in Uganda Yves. No doubt i'll visit Uganda etal through you along the way. But man, Kenya is on another level. Wow!
The difference between Kenya and Uganda is very vivid.I feel you are back to the Ethiopian border towns, our towns. The people seem introverted and not outgoing like the Kenyans!
But if there is someone who can cope with new things, it is you, Yves!I am eager to see you blending in Uganda! And sorry about the knee also!
Good luck, brother!

Welcome to Uganda. Adventure continues. Land is beautiful, but i cannot stop noticing the fresh paved highway infrastructure. Must be valuable shipping n cargo resources in or across Uganda. That meal looked delicious. Keep on.
Imagine 300km from the city kampala but the roads look nice.
The funny thing about ugandans dont brag about their beautiful country. From east to west to north to the south, green lush with rolling hills.this country is beautiful
Here i am again following this our Legend@Yves our favourite ..may God journey mercies wherever you are in Uganda.❤❤🎉🎉
Your videos make me so happy!

"That's very good again Ives, to see you well in a beautiful and safe Uganda this time.. I'd say every country and communities in most parts of the world will be different. It shouldn't be too surprising.. You'll never know how you are taking those of us who love this continent dearly along with every step you take.. Emotionally we are one with you.. We feel the strain with you as you pedal and the natural warmth of those who greet you from the bottom of their hearts. It is now no longer about entertainment and wondering what the "Mlungi" is doing on the continent. I believe it is now education and a uniting experience for many of us Africans, those who are following you..
good to see you in good health Kino
When you reach JINJA make sure you reach the JOHN HANNING SPEKE point where the mighty river nile meets the Lake victoria. You will enjoy the lush greenery in the land of matoke and the hospitality of the UGanda people they are equally good as kenyans.
"Wow, your journey from France to Cape Town on a trike is truly inspiring! Thank you for visiting Kenya and sharing your incredible adventures with us. I wish you all the best as you continue your trip to Uganda and beyond. Safe travels and keep spreading positivity on the road! 🌍✨#adventureawaits"
Kenyans are fantastic people, but when you meet Ugandans....that touch your hearth even deeper. East Africa is wonderful
Wow, what an amazing adventure! You are so brave and inspiring to cycle across Africa on your own. I love your videos, they are so well-made and entertaining. You show us the beauty and diversity of this continent, as well as the challenges and joys of traveling by bike. I hope your knee gets better soon and you can enjoy the rest of your journey. Keep up the good work, you have a loyal fan here. Cheers from Ethiopia!
His knees might take a beating from those ranges, kind of worried about terrain after Kapochorwa, too steep , scary, good job it’s now tarmac.

Yves, Kenya made your legs soft.. Uganda will help you build endurance and muscle mass on you legs.💪
Was thinking of that too
No way 😂😂😂 the rift Valley is no joke
Wrong. The Rift Valley in Kenya especially the routes he chose are no joke. He has been going to very steep Highlands and mountains some over 3000m asl. It's just this part of Uganda is same terrain as it is around Mt Elgon.
Seems like you've gained a lot of followers in kenya , we Kenyans never disappoint. 💪💪💪
Majority of Kenyans enter Uganda from Malaba and Busia. This is a new border for the majority so we are keenly following you. Yves has a way of showing people parts of their respective countries they never knew much about.
Yes indeed, the southern route past Kericho and Ahero to Busia and the northern route via Eldoret to Malaba.
It's bn there for sometime. It was opened by Uhuru in his first term when we made lots of noise about jams in Malaba
@@monicamwaura399 I didnt know of its existence. I was wondering huku ni wapi?
There is also another border to uganda in West pokot called Amudat. The area is so dry but is an interesting route

Great to see you back on the road and in Uganda 🇺🇬. It has taken me nearly 3 hours to watch this as I have been dealing with church work. But now I'm enjoying the whole episode with a cup of tea .
Yves brother if you can get a knee strap put it on if the pain is in the back of your knee it could me muscle damage or ligaments . Get 2 knee straps at next pharmacy and get some tiger balm or deep heat both have both hot and cold types use the cold one to cool down the pain use the hot one to help with the pain when your being active
Wow, amazing Uganda, can't wait to see more of this, good job
Hi Kino all the way from south africa I think you should add like a small solar panel on your bike maybe to help with charging while in use or even a small light in case of dark or FoG
Brilliant idea! Although I think it needs bigger amperage. I remember his batteries refused to charge in Sudan where they had solar power.
Am from Kenya have been following you from Ethiopia

Uganda 🇺🇬 was quite amazing. I was there late last year and I can't wait to go back. Their food especially is something else. 😊 The people are amazing too, but cops are bullies. They harassed The internet was a bit slow and roads within the cities were not as good. The only negative thing I could say about Uganda was the internet. I guess we are used to the fast internet in Kenya (more options) that you can easily tell when the internet isn't that good. M-PESA wasn't missed due to MPESA app. I cannot wait to go back and traverse the whole country of Uganda. ❤ Enjoy your trip.
I followed every episode in Kenya. I am your great fan. I liked the way you stood against anyone trying to expoit you, and diversity of eating anywhere without phobia. Those are my virtuals. And of course improved my appetite by how u enjoyed food. Mmmh ' nice nice. 😅. And Jambo greetings. Day 1 in Uganda you really missed those greetings
Highways in Uganda is so empty. Kapchorwa and bukwo are kalenjin inhabited regions of Uganda.
That road is empty because most traffic use Busia and Malaba border crossings . That region mostly supply crops so the traffic is seasonal
That genius doctors prescriptions
must be wonderful, what a diagnosis. Any way Yves be careful.
Hi Yves the people pushing you, do so as a goodwill gesture because your trike has a build resembling that for people with physical needs.
They just wish you well , unaware you are ok.
Welcome to Uganda and we are glad about your first impressions as we promise you an incredible experience you will never forget about our country!

Welcome to Uganda 🇺🇬. Enjoy your ride
Proud to be Kenyan after watching this
I just love how yves enjoys the delicacies in d various countries
Uganda looks so beautiful and green. Stark difference in behaviour from Kenyans. People stopped speaking Swahili closer to the border than I expected. Even the accents changed pretty quickly.
Once you cross the border it becomes a whole new world even in Busia
because most are educated in english and it is far more widespread than in kenya.
Just got back from east Africa. As a musongo you will constantly be hassled and be asked for money after 2 months I stopped the hand shakes and friendliness just leaving the fists (for bumps) hanging in my face. I admire the energy you have to make the effort to be friendly. Rwanda will be a treat with people not hassling you and no kenya police trying to get money out of you.
So sad how halfway the video and no one noticed Kino in Uganda. It's easy to be a celeb in Kenya maybe😅😅.

What about your old husband? 😅😂
Traversed across UG last August. These are mere hills compared to the mountains of Western Uganda all the way from Mbarara to Fort Portal, to Congo, and then through Ntungamo, to RW border. Uganda really broke us down, but soothed us with its varieties of Katogos and mashed matoke-based food. Except the food and the women, nothing else remains positive in my mind about Kagutastan.
A kenyan still following you, good job Yves
Hope your adventures and journey go well. We'll be with you through your the journey (in our hearts and online) to Cape Town. Sad to see you leave our beautiful country. Lots of love from Kenya
