- I ride from Mbale city to Iganga, in Uganda, in Africa. On the way, I meet many cyclists transporting goods, and I race with some of them. I stop for lunch at Esther's restaurant, a really lovely woman who serves me some delicious goat meat.
Then I continue across beautiful Uganda, until I finally reach Iganga.

@256ugkalix3 Most of them don't even have proper permits. They learn to drive from friends, especially boda bodas. I am Ugandan, and I can tell you for sure this is a challenge in Uganda.

@@quimaina808 sure she did😊 and then asked him if that was okay with him to wait for 10 to 12 minutes. plus while he was waiting she offered him the most organic delicious juice. By the way I was shouting to Gino to stop drinking too much juice because he might not be able to eat his food 😂 Well, I was wrong! He finished it fast as usual and enjoyed his meal 😂

You can tell Esther is very clever and informed, she doesn't assume things but asks instead. She reads the room and is aware of Yves exhaustion, escuses herself to let him rest before bringing the menu. Such hospitality is common in Uganda.

The lady serving him food is really educated, she knows her stuff.
Yea thats how you know the food was gonna be next level. A big smile and very knowledgeable, that generally means someone is good at their job.
Esther has excellent customer service.She was attentive to the needs of the customer but she also observed boundaries and remained out of sight but still accessible to her customer.I like her.

For all the energy one needs to traverse Africa, he needs that great food and huge appetite that he displays.
Such a clean eating place and a wonderful service out of town must be rare indeed.. Uganda and her people have a place among the best... That's another very good video, my mzungu friend..
Those eating places are literally everywhere in Uganda
I confess I never knew this continent better until now.. Why would an African want tour Europe or the US unless it is for business or studying etc? I argued with Kenyans when the "mzungu" was there. They posted what sounded like theirs was one and only special place.. I kept insisting that ho-ho-ho-.. the mzungu still has some way to go and that there is more coming. Uganda is proving to be another very special place... Africans, can we for once just be (humbly..ha-ha) proud that we are blessed to a call such a wonderful continent our home home?
