I wish my Ravens would have won. Clearly the better team, but this game helped fuel the run that would result in winning the division and the Super Bowl! Was a pivotal game and luckily the end for Cam Cameron!
Look at FedEx man, we havent had a crowd this big in years. This is basically a neutral game but their is a lot more red then purple. Everything went to shit after this season.
I would disagree. His last season with the Ravens really was not productive and he lost a huge step from the year before. Who knows, if he doesn’t get in trouble maybe he turns into a franchise RB. Most backs in the NFL are replaceable nowadays which is why they are so underpaid compared to seemingly every other position.
I brought my Ravens Friend ( we always bring each other when they play. Should be every year along with many other rivalries across the NFL, instead of 4 years). This was a great game, one of most memorable games for me at least. Had plenty of offense & scoring back and forth; and when defense on both teams made a play, it was big momentum changing play! Sack, INT, Fumble! Garson and Bolden were to great Wide Receivers, who had very similar skills and talents, including both being tall, well built strong & tough WRs, who absorbed contact without it slowing them down and kept going. Wish they both had stayed for Baltimore and Washington longer then just a few years! But Unfortunately this game that will always be remembered as the game that led to end of RG3 career after the hit by Nata, and his knee bent wrong way! Seeing ot happen felt like Slow Motion, and just getting off field without a stretcher was shocking. I'm honestly glad they didn't show it in this video, as its a 1 of those things you wish you could forget|! He came back into game, WTF? Then after missing final 5 weeks, they started him in Playoff game, and in game, everyone knew he wasn't mobile which made him so great until that injury, (Cousins drafted 4th round sane year),. So I think it was 2nd quarter & 2nd Sack, he couldn't get up and image of him lying there not even moving is the lasting image of RG3 many of us have. Especially for us who could hear him sxream in pain ! . Seattle won game, Cousins threw 2 TDs & 2-3INT's !!! Adidas had signed him, had marketing campaign "All in for Week One" which put time on recovery that should have taken a full year or longer to fully recover would now be done in under 8 months. He somehow played most of 2013, , but couldn't run & without setting feet struggled to pass accurately! 2014 came the knockout blow! Bam Out of football!. Credit to him as he did comeback as a backup for 4 years, 3 with Baltimore, which was a good story and career ended with him on his feet!! Not laying on field! But A Washington Victory at home over the Ravens had meant that the Ravens would win the Super Bowl as they did that year! And in 2000! 4 years ago Lamar screwed that up with 5-7 TD''s, 3+ passing and 1-2 running & Ravens won at Washington by 30-40+ pts, but knocked out of Playoffs by Tennessee at home! They play this year on October 13th, in Baltimore so maybe if the Ravens, as one of best teams, lose to Washington who'll likely be 1 of worst teams, the tradition may be recreated & doesn't have to be away at Washington
As down in the dumps as the Skins are this is one of the games I’ll never forget. Cousins was unreal. I remember towards the end of the game there was a fog that had settled in, it’s kind of hard to see in the video. It just game the end such a cool vibe. HTTR!

Man this game brings back so many memories Ravens had some heavy hitters I miss them though especially Boldin
This game was lit. And man even before the hit. Rg3 had Bambi legs, they just looked loose af.
rg3 was a very frail man...
Ray Rice and Alfred Morris, 2 forgotten guys who were amazing
Ray rice made his choice to screw up his career so I dont feel bad about it
It’s So Sad 😞 miss This RG3
I'm kinda sad Joe's never gonna wear a Ravens jersey anymore. We had some good times.
What a excellent game this was, such a great atmosphere being there!
YEAR WE WON SUPER BOWL GO RAVENS RAVENS NATION 🏈💜🖤
Please post a Lawrence Taylor game , just like y'all have Randy and Barry games . Keep it up NFL Vault 👌
Who would have thought the Ravens would have both the 2008 and 2012 ROTY on their team years later? ☺
2008 is matt ryan right ?
Anquan boldin was a ROTY
@@thomasyeretzian4041 ehhh Flacco was the Pepsi rookie of the year
As down in the dumps as the Skins are this is one of the games I’ll never forget. Cousins was unreal. I remember towards the end of the game there was a fog that had settled in, it’s kind of hard to see in the video. It just game the end such a cool vibe. HTTR!
I miss watching the redskins in 2012-2013 it was so heart warming to see this :)
No matter how good or bad cousins played for us over the next couple years, I always was like man that 2 point run he had against the ravens sure was something special
There are TWO different Beltways: one around DC, the other around Baltimore.
GOD I miss when the Redskins were actually fun to watch... Orakpo in his prime, RG3 one of the most diverse players in the nfl with a speedy recieving core... take me back to 2012..
1:14 Look at that impressive run blocking from the Ravens Oline on this play.
11:27 Flacco trying to be Lamar 😂😂😂
Imagine if Sean Taylor was on that field
I remember this game. I was pissed we lost
im surprised they even included ray rices highlights lmso
TheSeattle206 they only show it because he really punched the defence in the gut in this game
@@Jpgoeagles one might even say he dragged the defense around.
So what he was a football player Dumbass
11:49 come on how u let the punter catch you bruh
This game makes me think so much on what could’ve been & Pray that we don’t make the same decision we did in the past with Haskins
Back then stars like Alfred Morris, justin blackmon, jacoby Jones, jamal Charles and arain foster and etc. Was so good they just couldn't be franchise players I remember these days for nfl they were so good Ray Rice is and was my favorite player those days
Amazing game and ending!! The great Marv Albert calling the game.
8:54 is a snapshot of the beginning of RG3's downfall smh... but damn this game was good!
Man I hope Sunday is as exciting as this one..
people are talking about rg3, but no one is talking about how incredibly efficient flacco was in his prime
The game that changed.........everything for us!
Hurt til this day....
That is some "Marv"elous play by play 😀
Looking back on the super brief RGIII era in DC is always depressing. RGIII had the makings of a great QB, but since that injury, he's never been the same.
If RG3 never gets hurt we have a dynasty. Painful to watch 😢
After this day, RG3 would never be the same...
I forgot how much of a beast guys like garçon and Morris were
The camera zooming out at 11:46 is something we should see more often.
Seeing the crowd going crazy too 🔥
YOU LIKE THAT!
it dont matter that we lost, we still won the superbowl that very same year
I remember watching this Game Redskins Nation took the Beltway that day. Hard fought game..RG3 was looking good but the Ravens are the ones that took his legs from him not the Seahawks in the Playoffs. Kirk Cousin began his chapter in DC here. He got a few game winning drives that season. Great heart that year i hope we show the same soul this year as a team....HTTR FOREVER
Watchin this video gets me all hyped up for new NFL Season! #WeWantFootball
