- Disney's Snow White remake has continued to get attacked online recently, but now it seems Disney and Rachel Zegler are taking steps to try and minimize the backlash, and somehow try and save this film. As Rachel Zegler has clearly changed her appraoch to marketing for Snow White, but fans have noticed the shift and are voicing how they refuse to accept an apology and still disagree with what she said last year. But will this attempt to save Snow White work for Disney? Or will it be yet another box office failure for Disney?

This impending disaster of a film originally faced criticism for again race swapping a beloved Caucasian character for no justifiable reason. That major issue ended up on the back-burner simmering away in the background once Rachel Zegler opened her obnoxiously entitled mouth and made a complete fool out of herself online. The level of disgust towards this film should ensure it is a major flop at the Box Office.

The Cinderella remake didn't flop because it came out in 2015, before all this woke madness had taken over. It stayed true to the original and was an excellent adaptation.

It really was. Cinderella and Maleficent are about the only Disney remakes I actually enjoyed. Maleficent because some care was given to expand on the original story and give character nuance, and Cinderella because, like you said, they stayed very true to the original story. Cinderella was sweet and likeable, there weren't any major changes to the plot, and they even gave the evil stepmother a little more character. Plus the costume design was lovely.

He yells at her about how it feels to be a fairy creature in a place where you don't belong, heavily implying that him sacrificing her wings to seize power didn't guarantee him respect or loyalty among his courtiers. Not only do they find out that he never even killed her, but he is then made to _bow_ before the queen of the fae to lift a curse from his child. I wish more people talked about these nuances.

That's it. Nothing Announced, nothing in Pre-production, nothing Filming, nothing else in Post.
Unless she's still filming reshoots for Snow White, she's sat on her bony arse at home wondering where it all went wrong and how badly she has to grovel.

Hollywood is creatively bankrupt. Producers repackage old classics, put some stupid gimmicky "twist" on them and then cross their fingers and hope people are stupid and desperate enough to watch them.
It's not so much of Hollywood being creatively bankrupt, but rather movies have grown too big to fail.
Remakes, sequels and movie franchises are there to reduce the risk of failure.
They don’t need to be creative but if they just stick to what works and people actually want they’d be fine and we’d be content. There is a huge market for a new generation of princesses for example and aging up the previous ones (similar to with Ariel who became a mum in her sequel or like Simba as a father in the sequel) it would be great and fine but they seem unwilling to concede to traditional family values.

I'm older than most redwood trees and vividly remember watching the original Snow White as a child. When I first heard her comments comparing the prince to a stalker, I was completely turned off. I used to visit Disneyland all the time as a kid, but I wouldn't step foot in that place today. I'm thoroughly disgusted with everything being 'woke.' It's definitely not for me. 🤨

This movie is DOA, you can see in her new interviews her tone is almost like a puppy that got disciplined for peeing on the floor.

'Snow White and the Evil Queen' with Brett Cooper is the one I'm waiting for.
For starters Brett Cooper actually fits the design brief and doesn't have some kind of strange square coppertone head thing going on. Plus she actually seems like a nice person and I think that's all we are really asking for.

Disney really thought we were gullible idiots here, as If we would forget Zegler's previous statements trashing the achievement this film was back in 1937. It's done, they cast an actress who cares more about being paid every time she's wearing the Snow White costume than honoring the legacy of a beloved character that impacted many generations of children.

The Prince lived in the Kingdom next to the forest and was hunting in the forests one day when he randomly found Snow White.
When the price found he was awestruck by her beauty. This was truly love at first sight for the price for he had never seen a woman so beautiful in all his life. He tried to wake her but the spell kept her asleep, and he thought she may be dead. He is deeply saddened by the fact she appears dead and kisses her. Because his feelings are pure and he truly loves Snow White it breaks the Witches curse.
At most you can still try to cling to your argument due to the fact he kissed a women who seemed dead but again in the story his intentions and feelings towards her were always pure, if they werent he wouldn't of been able to break the curse.

Hate towards Rachel is too much. She wasn’t the one who change the story. The director, scriptwriter, and disney producers are the ones who decided to insert woke feminism into the story. As an actress she have to hype and promote the new story she’s working. Notice even Gal Gadol also talked about how Snow white didn’t need to be saved by the prince now. That’s their job to promote.

@@elvancor I'm with this guy. I don't particularly like or hate Emma, but for this role, she just wasn't delivering. Animated Belle was a day-dreamer who loved going on adventures through stories. Emma's Belle was more like an academic, or a scientist who didn't care about anyone else unless they were interested in her inventions. She was bringing her Hermione act into a movie that didn't need it.
