Seeing floor 6 gives me war flashbacks. Also, Dark Sun has 12,000Hp, and Boss Snurp has 15,000Hp. The “Made all feel weird!” move just gives every character a random status effect.

The Post Game of Miitopia is really difficult. Also, the original game did not have the Horse buddy to help. The last tower was mad hard, in both the remake and original. This will be a mega fun watch!

I beat the tower of dread on the ds version earlier today and it was a STRUGGLE, even with maxed out party

The 6th and 7th floors are pain, though.
I had my team as a player imp, a mage, a chef, and a scientist. All Legendary Equipment, and lowest bond was around 28 or so,
Nah, Its not that hard. 3ds is much more dificult. Really depend if you got good offensive and defensive. Cat is absolutely godsend. Swiping food from enemies constantly and in lategame, you max out the 999 twice with sharpened claws. Switch is much easier. Horse, DMG not capped at 999 and AI does much smarter decisions. You have no idea how many times my cleric did stupid Autoattack instead of Aura, banishing or idk fucking healing in 3ds.

le monke being the one to finish off the boss snurps has the exact same energy as my kind flower finishing off the darkest lord with a normal attack of 20 damage bc my laidback mage was conserving mp💀
On a challenge run, one of my mages killed dark Sun with fire, dealing 14 damage (I laughed at that)
Personally I wouldn't find that surprising, though it would still be pretty funny. I think the AI controlled party members will know if they can conserve MP by using a basic attack/skill that costs less MP to use to kill the enemy and do that if possible
update: i brought rabbid peach (my own youngest fab fairy) to the tower of dread and she was ALSO the one to finish off the apex bc my protagonist got a low roll on a horse attack😭😭

That fairy in particular saved me with beating the tower first try. Dancing arrow actually makes it so that the fiend on f6 can’t attack if you just target it with dancing arrow, so once I saw that I just spammed dancing arrow on the fiend until it died with my elf character. Elf in general is super overpowered (especially if you are controlling the elf character) but that’s usually due to its 3 mana barrier. F6 is where dancing arrow really shines
as someone who 100% the game without sprinkles, using the safe spot just for healing is absolutely a necessity in the towers
also cool is absolutely awful on a cleric, cuz avenge makes cool/stubborn/energetic personalities angry which prevents them from using non-attacking moves(i say while having a cool cleric myself but like it fits her irl personality so idk what u want me to say)
elite goblin a also does like 3x as much damage as the others so it's best to focus him down, tho the others teasing can redirect away from him which sucks
and uhhh idk why i'm giving u advice after u already beat it i think i'm just infodumping about my favorite game

Part of me wonders just how much of the brutality of the postgame comes from how there's literally only one character that you can control the actions of
Yeah. Sometimes the rng was for me, other times it was against me. The craziest thing to happen to me was how all the other characters kept reviving themselves after another one fell. My character was safe.
The RNG can definitely screw you. I find it depends on the class since the AI struggles to use some classes effectively - like they'll always be a bit sub-optimal but some classes have it worse than others. Elf is one of them and thus I personally prefer to fight the towers with an Elf MC, it just has everything and being able to actually shield the whole party is insanely useful. When the AI uses elf however they usually barrier themselves, maybe one other party member and then nothing.
Also Elf just hard counters the red fiend on floor 6, turns out it's vulnerable to dancing arrow and an Elf MC can just keep forcing the red fiend to waste turns rather than one-shotting your teammates.
This game was the embodiment of a drug trip

Honestly, this finale was worth the wait. I never got to finish Miitopia, or even knew that post-game content was present. Needless to say, this looks like a struggle worth fighting for. I actually got into Miitopia on my Switch because of Choc's playthrough a couple years back and adored the meme characters. I followed suit, and got really creative with some Mii customization. One day, I'll finally complete what was once but a dream.

i remember waltzing into new lumos on my 3ds
my whole team was max level, i controlled an absolutely overpowered elf and strolled into the districts
then came the tower of dread.
it started well but as the later bosses appeared, my sprinkles depleted and depleted- i remember losing at least once or twice
looking forward to seeing how you handle this postgame and i hope you had as much fun as i did
ps: imagine not ohkoing the fake dark lord with chef lmao could never be me
Faces tend to be randomized in fights that aren't specific, so obviously fights with stolen faces aren't. But yeah your Dark Sun was randomized. Also they added a whole NEW AREA??? Tower of Despair wasn't in OG Miitopia on 3DS at all, damn, they didn't advertize new content beyond the horse, and there basically wasn't otherwise, that's really unexpected!

@@PhoebeTheFairy56 nah like, once you defeat the dark spirit, the boss fight with the great sage is still there. Basically it didn’t happen
Fun Tip: If a character should be using special/magic attacks instead of just hitting with a weapon, you should not use hyper sprinkles on them.
Finally it feels like forever since this Series has been picked up again
Honestly, the hardest bits in postgame for me were Red miniboss enemies and the big dark tower(forgot name, but even that wasn't too hard).
Oh man I remember playing this game on the 3ds faceing 2 very high level Spicy burger bosses they wipe my almost level 50 team but tower of despair that’s new 39:50 looking at the new harder mode I’m having Vietnam flash back of those 2 Spicy burgers, wonder if I can get back into it if I buy the switch version.

Lol, i remember creating my vampire mansion owner, the joke was that he himself was a boo, yet he was afraid of ghosts
Man, i LOVED the personalities. Cautious and stubborn being my favorites. Cautious was great for slow characters, as they may prep, attack last but do a lot more damage, plus the chance to oneshot enemies with low hp for free, or pull a banana outta nowhere lol. Stubborn? Well, 3% chance of attacking twice for no reason is neat, likely to decrease damage AND the not so cool "i dont need help", which it shares with the cool trait!
Cool, on the other hand, i DESPISE IT. The chance to dodge physical attacks or ignore statuses is fine, and so is showing off, but refusing heals OR protecting a friend when needed? Huge quarrel potential if they dont die that is. At least it doesnt suck as much as kind lol.
Then there's laid back. Laid back is a coin flip between garbage and op, SPECIALLY on mage class super focused 999 fire wall goes brrrrrr
Cool doesn't have the Bluff ability, and Shan't doesn't cause quarrels even if the target survives, it's arguably the best personality in the game just for the ability to deny physical attacks and emotion-based statuses.
@@zakwilson2606 Oh, that's on me, but it still cant beat laid back, and ignoring a friend in help is mid in high friendship groups
@@javierascanio4309STUBBORN is the one that can refuse heals via "Bluff". It can refuse pretty much ANY restorative spell, being status cures, HP/MP restoration, etc. That's the MAJOR drawback of a stubborn Mii and this CAN cause quarrels.
"Shan't" on the other hand (cool personality), at least in my experience, is pretty rare. In my long playthrough of Miitopia, it only happened ONE time and in the post-game at that. "Shan't" is when they refuse to cover a Mii when they look to them for help. This does NOT cause quarrels, though.

This is very late buuuuuuuuuut here's a fun fact about Shan't, ACCORDING TO THE MIITOPIA WIKI, It only has an activation rate of 20% so it doesn't happen too much unless you are very unlucky, But yeah cool is op

Fun Facts you Probably Already Know
1. Hyper doesn't allow the Mii to use any special abilities, but in return, ramps up damage a LOT. So it's not a good idea to Hyper a cleric or mage, but yes to a Warrior or a high attacking job.
2. Fiends of all variants (maybe) DON'T take magic damage. Mages are essentially useless to fight against them. Use attacking jobs like Warrior.
3. (my experience) The horse will let you use attacks more often if it knows you're in a tough battle.
4. You can bring a 5th teammate into almost anywhere by taking a quest from the traveler's hub and not doing the quest and instead heading to your level destination.

Also, frog's legs are highkey really nice, if you ever get the chance.

No, I haven't beaten the Switch version. Not even the MAIN GAME. 75% of that was just me screwing around and making Miis.

I literally just streamed myself beating the Tower of Dread and Dispair the other day. That was definitely a difficult challenge.
Ah the tower... this was a real challenge to conquer. I somehow managed to pull it off with a lv 35 party. I had my main be Elf class and would heal and shield my party. Took my sweet time utilizing the Safe Spot mechanic and eventually beat the tower. In my first try~ XD
