I have a question about the images (icons, buttons) in the Interactive PDF Design. After testing my PDF that all was working, I placed the images that I used in the PDF (which were on my desktop) into a folder. I noticed that I could not publish the PDF because the path (or location) of the links to the images had changed. Is there a best practice for this? Like, set up a folder for images and don't change the image or folder location. Thank you.
Greetings! Yes, I always keep all links in a sub-folder within the main project folder. If the main folder ever needs to be moved, all links stay with the project.
I did everything like you, But my problem is that after exporting the file The writings are not shown on the buttons, where is the problem? Everything is correct, the buttons work properly. But the text on it is not displayed in the exported file
Hello, thank you for your videos, i just subscribed. The rollover works great but there is one area I'm struggling on. When you're in a section how do you keep that tab highlighted and others muted out for the reader to keep track of what section they are in?
Hi Steph! In the past, instead of having my navigation tabs on the master page, I would copy and paste the tabs on each separate page in my document. Then, for each section, I would keep my section tab 100% color and lower the color tints on the other tabs not in use. It's not really a rollover effect, but it does help the reader keep track of where they are in the document. I hope this helps and thanks for subscribing!
Dear Chris I follow your instructions and I create a very nice presentation with lot of pop ups. BUT I send it to my client and it doesn't work on their salesmen tablets. In their computer works perfectly. M I do something wrong? Created as web, exported as interactive pdf. Please help! thank you.
Hi Chris, Firstly Thanks a lot for the videos that you are making on different techniques of creating interactive PDFs coz this has been helping me a lot in getting my work done the way my clients need. I am at a roadblock and would appreciate if you can help me through..... My clients view all the PDFs on browsers and I have few hyperlinks on the PDF that I have created. The page layout is divided into 2 parts vertically, the hyperlinks in the first half are working fine whereas the hyperlinks on the 2nd half do not get recognized as hyperlinks on browser (works fine on any PDF readers/viewer). Please suggest a solution................... Thanks in advance!!!!
Hi Pallav, I appreciate the kind words and am glad these videos have been helpful! My first step in troubleshooting would be to make sure the PDF is exported with the settings detailed in my Mobile & Browser Functionality video: ruclips.net/video/yRHTtxZRUFs/видео.html

@@ChrisMorenoDesign Fast reply!! Thank you sooo much, that helps a lot!
@@ChrisMorenoDesign If you had a different (but similar) master page for each section, it would make your (good) solution even easier.
