Thank you for doing the video, mines been sitting four years due to health reasons. Feeling better now and working on it, same here runs as this one, now in process of following your video.
Definitely need to go through all the filters. I can’t remember if I covered the big filter on this video?

I always love your troubleshooting. I can imagine someone watching and following along with you. Awesome that you really dive into the details and explain things as you're doing it.....nice magical box of assorted wiring mess....thing has saved me a time or two!

BLOWNSST I didn’t cover the filter under the tank. That probably needs to be cleaned out as well, lots of videos about that one.

You can buy a fancy one if you want to, but this works.
There is a fuel filter under the tank inside the silver canister with three screws on it before it goes to the fuel pump check that
Yes, I didn’t cover that on this video but it also should be cleaned or replaced

Tom smales I stay busy, rather fix them than sell them but I sometimes do both.
Mine doin the same thing after sitting up for one year new plug new injector clean fuel pump deleted swirl filter imma put the old one back

G Thompson very loud! I was glad to help get it running but don’t need it in my life. The KZ is probably going to be the next bike I sell, but I really want to camp off it first.

Clean or replace all of the filters. There’s another one underneath the fuel tank that I didn’t show. If that doesn’t fix it, I would check fuel pressure next. Could have a failing fuel pump
idk if this is inappropriate but how much did this costs you. I mean the quad. Im looking for something cheaper like even if its in a condition as this one is, but idk how much should i pay for it
Well I was working on this for some friends. I also helped them sell it, but it was before all this pandemic started. Prices have gone up a lot since then. $4k seems like what they are listed at around here.
Hey man no disrespect I live in NC and I found an 06 on Craigslist anyway the guy I bought it from said he ended up with it cuz somebody owed him 💰 and he needed 💰 so I paid 1800 for it. Now you would think it's a POS but I'm telling you.....you will not find a cleaner one unless it came out of the box. It had sat for So long that the whole fuel system had to be gone through it still has the factory chalk marks on the wheel nuts and studs. People see it and I tell them the story and they're like lucky Bastard!!!
That’s awesome. I had a chance to get this one at a very cheap but since they are family friends helped fix it and sell it....good for both of us. Seems like a very fast quad!
The cleanest one is the stock on marketplace for 8,000

Gotta be about 50? It's fast and powerful, didn't want to flip it riding it up the driveway.

Are all ltr450s twist throttle if so can you convert it to a lever?
brenden gore I have no idea how they come from the factory but converting to a thumb throttle is probably pretty easy.
No they come stock with the thumb throttle

stephane berube check the wiring harness for a short circuit. Also test the electrical output of the stator after the lights quit.

So in the beginning that was a 7k quad I love how people take care of stuff .... Fuckin ignorant and yes it's a fuel delivery issue I own one of these as well.
Yes, just needed everything in the fuel system cleaned up. Unfortunately time goes by and people neglect things, I was able to get it running and cleaned up a bit. Some new plastics, chain and sprocket set and it will be looking good for a while.
