I’ve got an 08 LTR 450 Limited Edition, Black on Black and I’ve had ZERO ISSUES. Granted, I’ve kept up on meticulous maintenance after every ride, never put her away dirty from top to bottom really taking care of her you know.

Hes very good! Love that ole Ford Ranger truck too they never die. I got a '20 Ranger XLT FX4. Great truck ! Ecoboost Is a beast. F150 10spd tranny. Dana axles. All stock. Dumped a '16 Taco TRD for that new Ranger never looked bk!🤙

Btw the tire bead is suppose to be between the wheel and the lock ring. When u tighten the ring is sqeezes the bead and seals it . Thanks for the great uploads.

Thermostats are required because they control the flow of the coolant and slow it down to allow the fluid going through your radiator actually has time to cool.
i had nothing but problems out of my ltr. i mean i loved riding it tons of power but i worked on it more than i ever got to ride it

When it comes to brake pads I've used them all from cheap to EBC to Galfer and I've always found myself going back to buying OEM pads from Motosport or Babbits. The OEM pads always seem to stop better and last the longest.

Breaking that tire bead is a B ! Installing new tire. Tire kinda fell on. Did the starter fluid match thing💥🤦♂️ to seat bead. It worked.
My 2013 trx450er is a bit finicky on the valve adjustment but had been a solid quad and very easy to work on.
Beadlock rims only need the inside bead to be in the lock seats the other side. Good video nonetheless

after a while if you change enough bolts and fix enough shit things won’t be stuck bc you will have new bolts and well taken care of equipment. stay ahead of it and it will get better.

Hey good thing to have is a steering stabilizer u can get a streamline for $125, riding through ruts and rocks u won’t have any pump in the handlebars

I picked up an 06 LTR 450 like 2vweeks ago I'm only gonna trail ride and hill climb with it what are the main problems you had with your LTR and how often do you do oil changes and basic maintenance it's my first 450 and I've heard they're more of a handful then my old kfx 400

I've been here @ this age, I love it you guys are learning as you go, Best way to learn and super dedicated! Keep it up this is the best way to learn but just be safe... And for brake pads, after you get thru the muck and mud and dirt clean them afterward last a lot longer for ur buck. But dirt fucks pads. still will be replacing a lot.

Actually having a thermostat in there should keep it cooler. It regulates the temperature and makes it more stable and in optimal running temperature

With my ltr all I had to do was replace my seals around my injector and clean it and it ran perfect and not a problem since
I loved my ltr 450!

I switched from Evans waterless to engine ice on my 15 rmz450 and that seems to work better

Actually cooling systems work better with a thermostat. Without a thermostat it circulates hot water and doesnt give a chance to hold water in the rad to cool it off

Dude sick quad sick video idk if you have one or not but you should definitely invest on a steering stabilizer it helps out a lot I could tell that you loose a lot of control on those big U turns so I would definitely recommend it💪🏽🔥
If your ingectors bad it will be dripping clear fuel into your engine and it will just drip down through your engine to your sump and it will fill the sump up with fuel so change your oil after u get the ingector swapped out
If ud have rubbed joint grease around the bead of the tire on both sides it woulda been way easier to put on always lubricate or u risk slicing the bead
The only way your going to get brake pads that last longer is to buy factory oem Suzuki man

Idk what you have here but only problem ever with Ltr is the injectors get clogged. But you don’t need to replace just put power to it and blow it out and your good to go

Yes, go buy a Yama Dog 450 and then you can put $5000.00 in the motor so you maybe see the Ass end of the Suzuki LTR 450. You can line up a stock 450 Yama Dog, Honda 450 or a Kawasaki 450 and the Suzuki LTR 450 will crush all of them. I'm talking with Pro Rider's like myself on all machines, not a bunch of weekend warriors because that proves nothing. Remember what the Suzuki LTR 450 machine has accomplished in A.M.A. PRO RACING since it was 1st introduced in 2006. Due your homework and not on RUclips.
P. S. I own a 2007 Suzuki LTR 450. Get your Yama Dog or whatever and you're want crushed let me know. I also own a 1987 Suzuki 500 QuadZilla, custom built and it's 540cc running on methane alcohol. I ran mid 5's at our local 1/8th mile drag strip in Super Pro Class and it wasn't hooking. This machine weighs in at 204 lbs.

Hey when your changing the tire get a short 2 x 4 put it on the bead then drive your truck on the 2 x 4 it breaks the bead immediately
