Thanks for watching! The Jeep doesn’t weight very much, so the skinny tires help to dig deep and find solid ground to get traction. It’s pretty impressive for a 75 year old vehicle!
It’s on my list of stuff to fix for sure. The new carburetor I installed sits below the stock hood line, so i should be able to make up some sort of low profile air box to connect to the carb, and make the hood flat again.
Pretty much busted when that brake drum came off. God that was great to watch.
It’s amazing at how easy the jeep rolls through mud and over trees etc. You expect it to get stuck instantly with the skinny tires.

Sorry man but that hood thing is super ugly , but I guess there’s no alternative maybe repurposing an old ammo box ?
