Hi Sarah! I LOVE your January Bouncing Bunny and Vintage Lace block... especially placed and sewn on to your page for your book! I really like the stamped piece of fabric you are using to title your sampler stitches page. The pink ruffle that you added to your bunny page looks great peeking out the top of the book pages! You have done a beautiful job!! Your book pages look awesome!! Your new gifted buttons are so beautiful! I bet it was wonderful to receive such a beautiful & generous package of happy mail! Surprises are the best! TFS Happy Stitching! Samantha
Love this project so much. I was late getting started, but I'm working on it. Getting ready to start my bunny 🐰 page. Thank you so much for your fabulous ideas ❤
Hi Sarah, Book is coming together beautifully The tape is called Twill tape. It is used to strengthen seams such as in sweaters or suits. I love using it in my work. Mine is vintage and stained. I just love it. The best to you and enjoying watching you work. Not boring.
The pages look gorgeous, all the finishing touches make all the difference. Can’t wait to see what the next block is but just got to finish my bunny first. Thank you so much. Xx
Hi Sarah, your blocks are fabulous! I love the added lace, it looks so tactile. I have nearly completed my block, looking forwards to doing this stage xx
I didn’t even think of embellishing my pages as I put them in the book 📖, so cool. Thank you for sharing your ideas and time. Your book is delicious 😋 As Rachel always says “the possibility’s are endless”
Love your ruffled sari silk. Now I’m going to have to add it to my stash of goodies. Mine work is slow….I still have a bum finger. Also, working triple the hours I usually work due to the unmentionable. Life will be normal again someday. 🌞🌹
What a wonderful video Sarah, I am going to start with you and Rachel’s May block and work backwards..looking forward to be part of your slow stitching FB group.❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
Love this. I was thinking white on white background with a pop of color throughout but seeing your colorful work make me want to do a second book with a colorful theme. Lol. Idk that I'll there's enough time.
Thank you for the great tutorial I am about to get started on my blocks and this was a great way to give me the confidence and understanding to start. Great job Sarah!
Great tutorial! I guess I need to get my fabric ready for my pages now. I was waiting to see how you were doing yours. I think I will do them this way verses the accordian method, as that is a bit confusing to me being new to all of this. I am close to being done with my bunny block. I have a feeling my spine is going to be too small but I will wait until we are done and decide if I want to expand it or not. I really like all the lace and ruffles you have added. I think I would like to do that as well! I was planning on maybe making borders for my pages so I should be able to add lace and ruffles too! Thanks for sharing!
There is no rush to get your pages ready- you can even do it at the end if you like. I think Rachel’s method will become more clear when she actually puts it in her book. My method is more straight forward
The beginning of your Stitchery journal is lovely! All the extra little bits, like the ruffle, button, Liberty fabric & yo-yo puff are so sweet & fun! Your instruction is so calm & concise, I almost think mine is going to come together as easily as yours! ALMOST, haha! I didn’t attempt the front page yet, I wanted to have more experience beforehand, but I do have all my base pages ready. Thank you for sharing your talent, knowledge & kindness with all of us! I wish I could meet you (& sister Rachel!) in person, but Kansas is really a long way away from either of you! I’ll just have to be content with your videos! Did your mom get her second bunny page finished? I can hardly wait to see that! Take care & be safe, & best wishes to all of you!.
Never met a ruffle I didn’t like. Thinking it would almost be worth facing spiders, snakes, sharks, killer jellyfish-all other manner of things that could kill you -plus a couple of sticks up the nose just to have a look at a couple of your op shops. Almost. Good news is, it seems I might be able to use my original book choice after all. It ain’t over till it’s over. Thanks, Sarah
Very beautiful work! I am enjoying watching your process and I’m glad that you did this preparing your pages video, as I’m trying to get my head around the pages. Will these four pages together, act as one signature when later binding them into the book? TFS. 😃😃😃
Yes as my pages are so thick I will treat it as one signature. I estimate that I will end up with 3 of those pages. I am thinking of doing a couple of double pages to fill up the space 😁
Hi Sarah...I just found your channel by watching Jeanette's video..im in melbourne...im interested in getting into sliw stitch it looks so cool especially having it as a journal cover..tfs irene xx
Sarah your work is so beautiful, and the bunny block exquisite. Thank you for the video. Sarah, you once mentioned the name of the tutorial for your pincushion. Could you do so again please. Thank you Xx
I think I just searched for letter stamps or script stamps. They will come up as lots of people sell them. I bought them ages ago so can remember who I got them from. I got 2 or 3 sets so I had multiples of letters

Love your work. This video is very helpful. Unfortunately, my pages got bigger and bigger. I'll try to make it all work.

Much appreciated Sarah, thank you. Cx
I get heaps from aliexpress but love to get those Stamps please Sarah what do you ask for or the shop ( there's so many)thankyou so loving this
I think I just searched for letter stamps or script stamps. They will come up as lots of people sell them. I bought them ages ago so can remember who I got them from. I got 2 or 3 sets so I had multiples of letters
I've ordered 3 sets ill keep you all posted thanks Sarah
Thank you! I was wondering about them also. Hopefully they’re still available!
@@ericastannard2635 they are available
🥰❤️🥰
💖
Thank you Sarah, I put the glue backed interfacing on the back of mine, shouldn’t have, it will make it hard to stitch through.🙁
Yes that might be difficult. Perhaps just try and do small stitches with a single thread of cotton and a smaller needle.
is that a pin cushion at the top of your screen/table?
Yes I made it following a tutorial from Ann Wood’s blog for a long pincushion
@@roxycreationsbysarah thanks, I'll look for it
Where can I get those letters for stamping?
AliExpress- super cheap. I bought several sets so that I have multiples of the same letters
Could you please tell me where you bought your lettering stamps ?
Yes please me too
AliExpress- they are really cheap and there are lots of sellers of them
Where can I get those stencil letters?
Love 😍
