Hi Sarah! Thank you for the great video to watch today! I really appreciate the time and effort you are giving for this project! I know it has to be taxing on your schedule. Your February block is awesome! From the fabulous fancy flowers & garden to your beautifully painted bird! Every thing came together so nicely! I would say perfectly!! Thank you for teaching us the new Drizzle stitch... it looks cool. It is similar, yet different from the bullion stitch . It is nice to add in the new stitch! I am happy to know it now. You are great!! TFS Happy Stitching!! Samantha
Wow! The bird is amazing. I think I’m gonna use your yo-yo deals for mine. I have a few antique yo-yos that I will use. I have a table topper made with yo-yos that my mother made long ago. Love your garden!
How lovely. Thank you for the new stitch! I’ve been working on an additional page for my journal that I am adding stitches that are new for me. So guess what I’m adding to that page! How fun.
Oh Wow Sarah!!! Everything is so pretty!!! I love all the textures you created with the embellishments. Love that drizzle stitch. Your bird is gorgeous and looks great beside your bunny. Lots of fun hours and stitches went into these pieces. Loving your book! 💕😍🌸
Loving your bright colors. I really like your bird. I looked at some fabric by the lady you named. She does amazingly bright florals. I’m nearly done…just a few more stitches. I love sewing with vintage silk thread too. I have 10 different spools. Some dating back to the turn of the century based on the info on the spool and a bit of Google research. They came from my grandmother.
Very nice! Love the colors you chose! I think i’ll skip the drizzle stitch. I have my hands full keeping up with the twenty we have already. 😎 I love the bird, too. We can’t have too many birds!
Sarah, it’s so vibrant & cheerful! Who wouldn’t be happy while gazing at this?! The garden is fabulous & the bird is just so full of texture! Thank you for showing us a new stitch, it’s a fun-looking one! Now you can rest for a week, well at least a rest from stitching! Thank you for all your hard work on this series!
So fun to watch you sew and your flower garden is amazing. I really love how you embellished your Suffolk puffs. I am learning so much from you and Rachel. Thanks for your great videos.
Sass I love the new stitch to practice. I love love your block and variety of stitches, its so inspirational. Thank you so much for this project!!! oxo
The drizzle stitch is interesting, as it is a knot used in macrame. It is so quirky in embroidery! Thanks for teaching the method for making it. Your piece is lovely. You and Rachel do your mum proud. Not only have you inherited blessed hands from her, but your love of this artistry is something she inspired. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi Sarah! Live the drizzle stitch, it's like casting on in knitting. Great look! I am wowed by your bird! He must have taken some time. Your whole block is just lovely!
Beautiful Sarah❤️ liked how you did the silk ribbon on your flower, I also want to learn how to use ribbon on embroidery, so I bought a book A-Z of Ribbon Embroidery! Thank you for sharing
I like the way in which you embroidered the bird!!! Very handsome. I will definitely give the drizzle stitch a try as it’s super whimsical. Thanks Sarah
Wow, Sarah! I love all the different embellishments. Beads, sequins and stitch all work to create so much dimension and interest. I love your bird, he turned out so beautiful! And your ‘fancy flowers’ are just that - so fancy! Thank you for everything, Sarah. We really do appreciate all the time and work you are pouring into this, along with everything else you have going on. I hope you’ll find a few extra minutes to be able to post your finished piece on IG - I’m really interested and curious about that Sue Spargo cast on stitch - would love to see a close up. Thanks dear Sarah! Xoxo
Absolutely beautiful Sarah! I love the colour and composition you use in your pieces. Was thinking that drizzle stitch would look good in the centre of the puffs also, maybe. Your bird is wonderful. Thanks so much for this project I am having so much fun with it. Can’t wait for next Wednesday.
Beautiful block! Enjoyed learning the drizzle stitch! I’ll have to try it out! Thanks for sharing! I’m just finishing mine up right now. I should be ready for the next one on time!
Hi Sarah it looks very similar to a stitch my mum used to use when making bridal dresses with fabric covered buttons and needing raised loops. She would bring the thread from below, bring it up and loop it about 5 times around her pinky or for bigger buttons , her pointer finger. Keep the loops equally taut on finger. Then do a blanket stitch tight or loose as you need. Was a very pretty finish.
Beautiful Sarah. I’ve never done the drizzle stitch so I will give it a go. I’ve finished my neutral background but haven’t worked my flowers yet. I better get a wriggle on. 🌻🌸🌼🌺
Wonderful piece! All of your book is beautiful. I really liked the drizzle stitch. I’ve never seen anything like it! But I can see how useful it could be. Thanks for all of your guidance!
Wow that’s just stunning 💖 thanks so much for sharing your incredible talent, I’m just loving watching the pieces come alive and this project so much 🌺😍
Hi Sarah. What a beautiful page! The bird came out beautiful! I need to get some millinery needles as I tried to do some bullion stitches and the eye of my needles was a problem. Also, the laundry label is so cute! Where did you get these from and do you know the font? Thanks!!
I don’t know what the font is but I buy them from a lady in France on Etsy. If you search for French Laundry Labels on Etsy you should find several sellers and might be lucky enough to find your own initials 😁
Your work is very beautiful. I would like to know why you don’t secure your Turkey stitch. Do you find that you threads don’t come out.? Just curious. I love how you pack in the flowers I am always too stingy lol.

Fantastic. Love the drizzle. Just saw Ariane Zurcher doing this. Your block is FAB. Looks great beside the bunny page. Thank you so much 💙😊🌷
Bravo Sarah❣️
Love it 🤗
Beautiful Sarah 😍
That is so lovely. Mine is looking pretty conventional again but it ain’t over till it’s over. I feel another sampler page coming on.
Simply . . . thank you! I love the “paint with thread” and I will be adding the new stitch somewhere on mine!
@Charlie Here I think it’s really similar to the bullion, except it’s more like a cast on, each wrap being anchored.
Wow that’s just stunning 💖 thanks so much for sharing your incredible talent, I’m just loving watching the pieces come alive and this project so much 🌺😍
Your page looks great! ❤💖🧡💛💜💘
🙏💕😁
So much to learn from you😊really like how you embellished the Suffolk puffs🪡
Very pretty Sarah.❤️
Just so beautiful! I might try some of those same embellishments on my suffolk puffs. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊
Thank you Sarah.
🥰❤️🥰

Sarah, can you show us the Bird piece you did with Sue Spargo? I’d love to see it!
I might one day. It’s not even close to finished so could do a lot more work on it 😁
What size milliners needle did you use for the drizzle stitch? Love it and the entire page!
I use a size 1 or 4 Milliners needle
Your work is very beautiful. I would like to know why you don’t secure your Turkey stitch. Do you find that you threads don’t come out.? Just curious. I love how you pack in the flowers I am always too stingy lol.
I have learnt to do turkey work both ways and I often don’t do the spectra stitch as the stitches overlap on the back and don’t seem to fall out 💕
Hello could I do the stitching that you have done on your bird with my bees thank you just love your work
Beautiful!!!!
