Great question, SzDaly! It sounds like you're looking to justify the alignment of your text, so select the body paragraph style or text, and in the Paragraph panel or the Paragraph section of the Properties panel, click on the Justify Left icon. This will give you even alignment on both sides of your text. With justified alignment, make sure you check the Hyphenate option in the Paragraph section of the Properties panel (you may need to click on the three ellipses in the bottom right corner of the Paragraph section to show more options, and this is where you'll see the Hyphenate box-just make sure that's checked), because if it's not checked, you'll get strange spacing throughout your text.
Completely wrong about page numbers and chapter headers Correct way to add page numbers ruclips.net/video/i443KLvqE7c/видео.htmlsi=6NzLZx0XvbX-wVpw Correct way to have header for each chapter ruclips.net/video/HF1X6t6pi0c/видео.htmlsi=wZIQ7TT-O_40wB0L
Thank you, @Grouchofish. This video was initially made for a beginning course, and I include automating page numbers as a separate video in the course. Still, your links are very helpful, and I appreciate it.
this is exactly what i was looking for! Thank you so very much!
How do you get the body of text to be even on both sides like in professionally published books?

@@rebekahventurini8381 Thank you, I also learned that in my doc, I shouldn't have a soft return, only hard returns, otherwise are also issues...
@@SzDaly Oh yes. That does make for extra work.
