I totally get where you're coming from. when I was in middle and high school, my mom always mentioned that she couldn't wait until I could eat regular food when I was a baby so that she could start taking me to the restaurants that she liked. And thankfully, I was a kid that liked a lot of things and was open to stuff, so her food adventures with her friends turned into food adventures with me. I hope she grows to be as open to food as you guys are because then you can go back on your food adventures, just with another willful little critic!

My daughter thrives at day care. She is the same age. New sickness every single week for the first few months is a head fuck but now she is a super baby and doesn’t get sick again.

Omg, my daughter did the same thing when I was holding my nephew. We were in a rocking chair n my daughter had been crawling on the floor. She looked up n saw me holding him, then crawled up on me, put her legs in front of his body, scooted her butt against him, n he almost fell from my arms. I was shocked bc she had never shown jealousy. Well, it didn't end bc I used to help with her class when she was in the first grade. All of the kids wanted to give me a hug n sit on my lap for a kiss. My daughter came over n started hitting the kids, telling them to get away from me bc I'm her momma. She's an only child, n I wish I had given her a sibling. She's now 27 n still shows jealousy if I give my nieces or nephews any attention. It's cute tho bc it makes me feel that she really loves her momma!!
Life is supposed to change and it will get easier , don’t let baby run the house , it’s ok to say no and she cries after ,better you tell her now before the world does , but enjoy your little one and don’t forget to enjoy each other
