I´ve been to that crypt at the start in 1998 as an 18 year old girl, it was our last school trip to Rome. At the time we seemed okay, but a few years later the memory of this started to haunt me. There was an inscripton somewhere near the end of that long corridor that said something like: "What you are, we once were. What we are now, you will be." These words really hit us hard at the time and whenever I remember them, I remember that crypt and how far on my way nearer to becoming what they are I have come by now. It is a feeling I could have done without. I think these words traumatised us a little. When you are 18, that is the last thing you think about.
Thanks for another great video! I have been to Santuario di San Bernardino alle Ossa in Milan, but this is just next level using for decoration , eerie yet amazing! Definitely wanna check it out when in Roma next month.

Quite long but an amazing walking tour. I find the crypt more interesting rather than creepy. Very fascinating to watch ❤
