Definitely should have skipped the photo round you can visually tell how horrible that makes someone feel and it feels worst watching a minor be voted off by looks.
like it was illogical for one, and also very humiliating.
Yea
so if she was 18 it would be fine but since she's 17 its not? even if she wasn't a minor it would be gross.
Deff
that round was sick in the head
I felt bad for the worst photo one because it seemed like the girl eliminated did get into her feelings on that one and was questioning how they perceived her. I would be too. Especially at that age.
I think it would have been better to have a question like “how many cars do your parents have?” Because then it’s means based and going to someone who needs it more
exactly. i thought that question was weird in general because why are we using a picture to decide who gets a car or not? same for how they were using popularity aswell.
This was sooo weird and unnecessary like WHAT? How does that decide who gets a freaking car tfff
I genuinely shed a tear because I can sense her thoughts at that moment:(( you can see how her mood changes
also they’re literal teens. most of them are minors (depending on state ig). as if at that age you want to be made to think negatively about your appearance
But I think it was also because that has nothing to do with how bad someone needs a car (as she literally said) and so it felt unfair. Honestly I’d be annoyed too getting eliminated for something random.
I really liked how respectful and chipper everybody was. I would just like to offer a piece of advice to the director: Please don’t make people be eliminated buy being perceived as “less attractive.” I think most people would find that uncomfortable and the line up had young teens who are at an age where they naturally feel insecure about the way they look and how they’re perceived.
I totally agree witht that.
agreed! very very weird of them to include this prompt and to have two men basically rate them, in front of potentially hundreds of thousands of people, is so mean.
100% agreed. Teenagers are already so insecure like you said, and to judge based on appearances just emphasises the issues young people are already worried about.
I agree, the questions should have been related to the car and driving! Like I loved the driving test questions!
Agreed, super weird play on the director, the teenagers did a super great job at deflecting it away from looks and more on the quality of the actual photo.
I feel like Lotus' mood changed after being voted out for having the worst student ID. I think it was stupid to include that as a round, voting on someone's looks. Hopefully, it did not affect her.
ikr shes even so pretty tho @@esseven
Making literal minors compare each others popularity and attractiveness is fucked up
Now here's the most beautiful love story: Me and you? Though we have fallen short of the glory of God by comitting just one sin which we deserve death and hell for, the Good News is that God loved us soo much that He, All-Powerful and All-Knowing Spirit came to earth in a human body as Jesus Christ, the fullness of God bodily, to live a perfect life keeping and fulfilling all laws and commandments, not sinning ONCE, and then sacrificing Himself on a cross for YOU! By shedding His Blood, He paid the penalty for your sin so that you could be washed clean from all sins and develop a personal relationship with God and spend eternity together with Him in Heaven. How awesome is that?! That's God's grace. All you have to do to accept His gift of grace is turn away from your sin and believe that Jesus is God, He shed His precious Blood for you and He is risen from the dead, He's in full control of your life that He rules over you. It's not by works or being a good person, it's only by God's grace through faith in Him. Jesus desires a personal relationship with you. Wow that is so incredible! Please turn to Him, He loves you so much and so do I!!
Legit, if I was playing this, I would not have fun at all. Puting other people down is not fun, even if it wasn't their intentions or they never had bad faith towards anyone, they felt like they were forced to anyway. No hate to Cut though.
I was happy this series returned, but this episode was so bad and this part was incredibly gross
womp womp
honestly though lol. it actually made it a little less fun imo because it’s just like “who looks the ugliest-you? okay, you don’t get the car” as opposed to the contestants having to actually think about things more, consider each other’s situation, etc.
that’s weird how yall voted someone out just because of their looks?? like how does that relate to how much they needed the car?
it wasn't the kids that did that tho,. they were literally ordered to compare the school photos.
@@Imokayluvthey said “yall” as in cut lol, not the kids
And popularity too. They shouldn’t compare those type of things for minors
Who cares they giving away a 2001 Toyota with 100k miles. It’s a shit car
It’s not, this is internet, they need those shit to get views and attentions
nova literally looks like the person that would have that type of car

the girl voted out for being unattractive was done dirty..
evillll 😭😭😭 and the way they were giggling tooooo
She wasn't unattractive, she simply had the worse school ID photo. Happens to all of us.
She had a Bad Religion shirt. She won in my book.
It disgusted me. She seemed to be the least conventional, most rebellious - I’m assuming this from a few cues - and that question, and the one about popularity, was mean and irrelevant. And it’s stupid to ask strangers to rank how popular each is.
@@krisdaschwab912Same here.

Cut's producers should be more responsible when having underaged guests on the show. Genuine weirdo behavior to ask teens to rank themselves based on popularity and photos of themselves when they are in the most insecure time of their lives.
This video sacrifices ethics for views, and even as a longtime viewer (5+ years), the shameless potstirring really turns me away from the channel.
💯
They could’ve made fun games if they didn’t want it to be a popularity contest but they did this uncomfortable way instead
Agreed. I'm appalled at the misandry and misogyny put on display. Whoever came up with those questions needs to do some serious self-reflection.
@@lyn9291you're just throwing out stupid buzz words you can't define please stop your idiocy
@SaintIC I've been using those 'buzz words' for decades now. I'm sorry if reading a comment written by an educated, articulate person triggers your insecurities, but that's not really my problem. That's a you problem. Furthermore, I refuse to dumb down my speech for the illiterate man-boys who can't help but put their ignorance on full display for all the world to see. Cheers!

I was hoping they were all going to be surprised with a car 😭 they’re the most mature group of teens I’ve seen, good for them for being so respectful to one another
poor girl who was voted off just because she had one bad school photo
the first oboy was voted off because they forgot what he said
@@luck1030😭😭
The way he said “I like boys okay” 😂😂
I felt like Lotus deserved the car the most since she needs to commute to work and especially since she had bad experiences on the bus. Plus she would be graduating more sooner than all the other teens. It's terrible how she got eliminated just because of her ID picture
The whole ID was messed up, but she did only mention the bad experiences on the car after Nova felt comfortable enough to say, the others didn’t know prior.
For real, the boys laughing at all of the girls IDs was so cruel. Gave me the ick.
damn I just turned 23 and sometimes think high school wasn’t that long ago but that “y’all know the movie Twilight?” question really made me feel like a senior citizen
Same lol
i swear to god
I mean I think that would be used to preface anything, even if it was more current

This is the good representation of our teenagers. I'm working at a place that's hiring a lot of teenagers, and they feel so different from my generation (or maybe where I was brought up) they are all so kind and understanding.
I wish everyone over 60 would watch this and realize how compassionate and selfless the younger generations of Americans truly are.
I hate when they vote someone out and then say they love them though.

Aaliyah is so precious 😭💙💙💙 so sad she lost with that driving question
Frr
Nah
Man, I found this video kind of disappointing. Why were two of the questions based on popularity and attractiveness? Not cool for young people who are at an age where they will most likely be hyper aware of how they are perceived and what their positionality is within social circles. I am unsure why the directors used 2 possible points of insecurity as a question. Not very thoughtful on behalf of the adults in the room. The young people were cool though! So lovely to see how kindly they interacted with one another.
these kids are too good for cut 😭 they were all so chill and empathetic
I like how all of them were so understanding and happy for her.
After watching this I feel like my folks kinda just phoned it in when it came to naming me. I could have been Nightwing or Velocity but instead they were like "Hey what was that guy's name who you shared a dorm with for a year? Oh yea...Craig."
🤣🤣🤣

You're jealous of Truth huh 😅
I feel like cut could buy something better than 150k miles bruh
it’s a toyota bro. they make amazing cars
Bro they teens
A car is a car
they are cheap af. basically giving them a piece of crap that won't last much longer.
So idk how it works for companies but you can gift someone an amount of money without that person being taxed on it. I can’t be bothered to get the exact number. That’s why one of the catches of RUclipsrs gifting expensive ass gifts is once you are in possession, you have to pay taxes. I’m talking like Teslas level. I so severely doubt any of these teenagers can afford to be taxed off an expensive ass car. Idk if this was the logic behind it but you know, it’s an idea
but I loved how normal it was for the second guy out to "come out" and it was no big deal. no strange reactions and everyone was like ok and kept it moving. love where the new generations are becoming more accepting
I caught that too
he didn’t come out
Aww they’re all so level headed and respectful, gives me hope for the future of our youth

As much as they appreciate that car, 2001 with 150,000 miles on it is CRAZY for the amount CUT makes
REAL
Why didn’t they ask the hard hitting questions? So many better things to base the decision off.
@@prettyshitIt doesn't need a dramatic past. Some basic question can be: First, confirm you have a driver's license active already. Second, confirm you have the means to keep a car (be able to afford gas and potential repairs, have a place to park it, etc).
I liked how many of them mentioned what they'd use it for though, especially those who compared to their current situation.
@@jessy1982 also if they already have a car in the family. Both girls at the end said they were responsible to take care of their family, but how if they dont have a car? How much their family need them and how many hours/days they would drive per week or something like that. And everybody is afraid to take a bus as a woman, but they have to.
" Welcome to cut, ok question one... WHY DID YOU MOTHER CHEAT ON YOUR DAD HANNAH? IS SHE A SLUT?!"
Looking at all the other episodes, hard-hitting questions would make people emotional if they get voted off. Like, no ones problem is less than others, and it's better to let it be a game than be a empathy/sympathy battle.
Why would they have them rank off of looks. They are literally teenagers and they’re just trying to get a car
Anybody else love the participants but hated Cut's directing in this? They were all obviously uncomfortable with every "challenge"
I love the Cut videos with adults, but y’all need to put the kid gloves on a little bit with minors. Most popular? Worst photos? Reinforcing negative stereotypes and behaviors.
Facts
Extremely unfair when something as important as winning a car is based on popularity or looks. It should be about deserving it through merit or some kind of fair criteria. It’s disappointing when external factors like that come into play…
Mekai was my favorite this episode, he was so responsible and real
✋🏾'I like boys' had me cackling 😭
These teens give me hope for the younger generations. All so respectful and kind to one another. There are so many horrible events and attitudes in society today, it was very refreshing to watch how these teens carried themselves and interacted with one another.
Best of luck to all the teens with their future endeavours, they all have such a bright future! 🌻⭐️
I’m much more cynical. Watch some cop cam videos and see how awful many young people are.
@@Ceerads oh i watch a lot of those too, so that's why this is refreshing.
@@Ceerads There are young people like that in every generation, though.
@@ChrisTheAspergerGuy Yes, there sure are, but I do think Gen Z takes obnoxiousness to another (low) level. But only SOME of them. I know I sound ancient (I am) when I say that I would never have behaved the way some young people do in elementary school or with cops. its so odd having children judge each other based on looks during the most vulnerable years of their lives.
very disgusting to have them rate based on looks wtf????
i feel like making them choose on their PHOTOS is so disgusting and weird like whyyyy would that matter at all? why couldn’t someone think of one other question or something…
no because why did all the ppl who needed it for reasonable reasons get out. Like no girl, you do not need a car just bc you want to hang out with your friends.
Why have any questions about popularity or looks. That's a bit strange
Visiting grandma had my early support but since I have anxiety and would love to have a car as a mobile "safe space" I'm so happy Nova won.
13:41 Wait so nova said she lives far from the school and doesn’t have public transportation but then proceeds to say she’s anxious of riding the bus every morning?

public transport doesn’t really count as a school bus ig

im so glad im not a teen anymore
i like how nova was in the first round, hanging out. places she wants to go to. and in the last round. its suddenly about family and siblings. literally no more going out
right. she says the bus isnt an option cuz she lives far away but also says she takes it. im always suspicious of what theyre saying when it comes to these videos
They’re all too goody-goody to be real, except for the one with the sweater saying something “Religion.” I wanted her to win.
@@MsDudette21I think she meant the school bus isn't an option.
Nova played the game perfectly. Played on their emotions at the end.
wants are not necessarily the same as needs. the fact that she lives an hour away from school and has younger siblings to take to school as well is definitely a need for her whole family too.
i also know that public transit is not safe nor reliable in the us for sure.
1 MILE AND THAT CAR IS DONE

can we talk about how 2/7 of the teens OPENLY said they experienced sa?? PROTECT THE YOUTH!!
these 1000 to 1 videos always rub me the wrong way and feel uncomfortable to watch, especially when the CUT crew ask weird question to stir things up, like the "rank yourselves from least to most popular", like what does that have to do with the topic of the video? it is just meant to cause drama and turn people against each other. also the people who were already eliminated should not have a say over who gets eliminated next. but of course we know that CUT loves drama and controversy.
Hadn’t thought about that and it’s very true. I stopped following Jubilee because of how they took “creating drama” to the extreme just for the likes and also how people of certain communities are thrown under the bus in the process. I definitely agree that the interactions should be centered around the topic of the video (in this video’s case: wanting/having a car) in a constructive manner rather than a destructive manner. Having eliminations is fine. I just think that they can reach the same goal without taunting the participants into tearing each other down.
I’m old yet still watch Cut and Jubilee. I always ask myself why. Sometimes they’re fun; many times, however, I feel I’ve wasted my time.
This one made me so much less anxious than the last Teens Decide. They were so kind and cool with each other.
The reasons for being eliminated was so dumb like why did y’all choose those categories?… like being eliminated by popularity or looks is so mean

the way the boys were laughing at lotus' picture made me really sad. maybe I'm projecting because that's how the popular guys treated me in school, but the way they kept looking at her then back at the picture and laughing and whispering.. it was a bit distasteful. i just want to give her a big hug because she looked a bit upset after they said that too. I'm disappointed they thought it was ok for teenagers to base themselves on popularity and attractiveness.
I am mekai and I want to say that I feel super bad. I do want to say, however, in the real situation I was really uncomfortable and I feel like my laughter was just out of discomfort. I have a huge amount of respect for all of the people here and I am super sorry if anything I did came across as disrespectful.

Dude my student id is always absolutely horrible no matter what, and at that age I would have been so embarrassed being judged off of it like that.
Cut had teenagers compete with each other based on their physical attractiveness and popularity in hopes of being rewarded with a 2001 Toyota Corolla
This is the funniest shit I have ever seen
Fr
The photo and popularity round was not fair, that can really hurt someone’s self esteem and question how people perceive them :(
i believe the girl with the jeans at the end should have won since she was the only one with a job.
Man, Cut, you telling me you couldn't afford a slightly better car?!
This is the best first car for a teen. Cheap, reliable, easy to maintain. Kids don’t need anything more
What if the answer is no?
The kids showing the adults how to be respectful and still compete. Love this
Cut to be honest the elimination over the photo ID was really wrong and disrespectful. everyone was very respectful to each other and you put them in a uncomfortable situation, also by hurting her feelings for a invalid reason like shes so pretty :(( yall couldve made her feel isolated and insecure about herself. teenagers already have problems in societal's messed up "beauty standers" you just had to bring it into a innocent video about these teens communicating over who should get this car...
i give them props for being able to do a video like this BECAUSE I COULD NOT. i would vote myself out right away. the stress and anxiety of having to choose who deserves the car would be too much. i would feel so bad for voting anyone out.
These teens are so chill and respectful, they're the best guests on this channel so far. Wishing only good things to them!!
Lotus Is Such A Pretty Name
With the way social media is and how toxic people can be, it was really ugly and messed up to have these kids compare each other on popularity and looks for a vehicle. These kids needed cars for different reasons, so who knows what kind of things they could be dealing with in their personal lives, and having them rank and compare does not help. I would not have enjoyed this at all at that age.
