They got a good group for this one. I like this episode more than any other, apart from the bartenders one, that one was just hilarious and also gave me minimal headache. People weren’t making me want to yell at the screen in that one too
I was thinking the same, but then it came to me. By doing so the whole point of the video wouldn't exist. People will start acting nice. Knowing by doing so they get money eventaully. And cut are trying to show the "ugly side" without giving people any reason to hide it

@@takuyamatsuda7214 just because you have issues in life doesn’t mean you don’t have the right to live life… meaning just because you have tribulations, that shouldn’t consume your entire livelihood - that’s more debilitating than not to your mental health. Fisayo out here being a humanitarian! Her family had just lost their house, but she still said the first thing she’d buy is resources/supplies for people that are completely homeless
Loved the guy in pink, he was my favourite! I love the drive he has and how he's hustling a job to get his funds instead of waiting on something to happen - basically being very proactive. Ambition like that is going to get him far in life irregardless if professional baseball works out. Josiah seemed like a very genuine dude, too.The young man in green was also really sweet and compassionate to others. Idk about the girl with coeliac and what exactly her game plan is because I heard in many dorms they don't allow you to have cooking equipment in there (might be for fire safety), so how is she gonna get an airfryer in there? she also didn't really explain her situation clearly (like the cross-contamination stuff). As for the Black girl who won, I kinda don't trust her, not to be mean. Something in the mannerisms was off, made me question if she was lying or severely exaggerating for the sake of winning the money. But then again sharing the hardships of your life in the context of monetizing the struggle would make anyone awkward and off in the way the way they present themselves (like giggling due to being uncomfortable).
Yeah I hope the black girl wasn’t lying because her reasoning for the money sounded really serious. But as for her mannerisms, maybe she was just really uncomfortable. Sometimes people act off when they are uncomfortable or nervous

It does not make any sense for her to get the money, it would be immaterial to all the things she wanted to contribute the money to. ALSO she was wearing brand new clothes, nails did, hair looked professionally done, and them lashes were def poppin. I would assume if you were in a financial situation you skip all that stuff, right?? Everybody else had waaay better reason for the money, jus sayin...
@@selr37 That's a good point! I put family before anything too, so thought it was weird she brought up their situation as more of an afterthought, especially if it was as bad as she was implying it to be.
@@selr37 There are a number of reasons why she might only work one day a week, especially being a teen with parents having struggling finances. Because she's probably in school and may not have reliable transportation to work, so maybe she can only work on the weekend or something. Why the heck would she lie about her dad having cancer and them having to sell their house? You think her friends and family aren't going to see this? Sheesh.
I fully understand this is for entertainment purposes, but there’s something slightly unethical pinning people against each other trying to decide who’s problems are more “worthy” of the money. For some people the money being used for donations may mean nothing, and for others, the money being used to buy material items for themselves may actually mean a lot to them. I almost think the person who gets the money should be the person who would genuinely appreciate it the most, which doesn’t necessarily align with the most humanitarian option.
They don’t have to choose who gets the money this way, like it’s not part of the the rules, they could flip a coin if they wanted to. People usually just gravitate towards doing it this way for some reason.

I think the blonde girl with medical problems should've gotten the money because her situation was more defined & practical. I mean, the other girl said she was gonna give to the homeless and I feel like if her situation was more immediate and essential she would use 100% of the money for herself. That's the only part that threw me off
Baseball dude is making close to $21/hr with a full time job and voting a kid off who’s mother couldn’t run her business the past two years? Maybe he can make it, but a dream is a dream and shouldn’t precede anyone else’s needs. Also how does he only have 1k saved up but is acting like this 1k gonna fix everything? There’s still another 13 to go.
Damn it’s crazy that he’s responsible and has a job working full time! Just sayin man - furthermore, a grand ain’t finna do shit to rly lift them off their feet. If they really needed the money the daughter would have a full time job as well. If you say she really can’t work more than one day a week that’s bullshit - also - she literally said she’d put the money towards charity as well lmfao
@@takuyamatsuda7214 manicures can be done at home. Jewelry can be handed down or brought years ago, and clothing can be brought years ago or by other people (even borrowed or thrifted). Also, wanting to help the homeless isn't a bad thing and giving that she's likely a student she may not have time or the opportunity to work more. Stop making assumptions and go with what is stated in the video. Meanwhile he works a full time job and his dream is unlikely. Only 0.5% highschooler baseball players make the MLB. He's going through an agency so even lower chances. And even with the $1k he is still $13,000 down. Meanwhile the girl in Black, the white girl, and the youngest would all use the money almost immediately. So absolutely baseball guy should have been voted out.

I felt awful when Jaden got eliminated and his motives were invalidated by Josiah :( arguably the others had sources of income and he didn't. Fisayo was such a wholesome character and I'm glad that Cut was able to help her out!!
i hate when people say things like “oh i‘m gonna donate the 1000$ to my local hospital because my whole family died last year and since that i‘ve been living with my aunt who is also sick“ like OF COURSE everyone is gonna feel bad and want them to win. my point is that always the one with the saddest story wins.
I don’t know something felt off about Fisayo’s story… her dad has cancer and her mom is struggling to support them but she would give the money to the homeless? Also she has fake eyelashes and nails and I feel like that stuff can be pretty expensive, especially for a struggling family and when she said she feels bad asking for things. If she only works one day a week how can she pay for self maintenance things? Idk it feels a little manipulative I really hope she wasn’t lying about any of it 🥺
You can get fake eyelashes for a dollar they’re not expensive and if you do your own nails or get press one they are cheap too you really can’t judge someone’s appearance when their going to do something public as to whether they have money it would have been more manipulative if someone came in scruffy clothes would it not. Everyone looked put together and you never know where she got that stuff from I’m not saying your wrong but like you can’t just judge that from this one video.
@@HG-yu7eq yeah I know I apologize for judging, it just felt off her demeanor and everything. I just hope it’s the truth because some people in these videos don’t always seem truthful or just play the game, which is the point. I hope the money went to her situation and a good cause 🙏
This is the first one of these videos that didn’t make me full of rage. They weren’t belittling other people’s problems or ganging up and bullying people out and just overall we’re actually nice and respectful to eachother. Crazy how they’ve been more mature that most of the adults in other videos.
I definitely agree. My school serves GF food and provides microwaves and refrigerators to students. I imagine purchasing insulin is way more expensive although she has some insurance coverage.
@@ariellel6123 Definitely not, but she doesn't know which school she'll be attending. It's great that she's planning to have to pay for these appliances herself though in case they're not offered to her.
This was by FAR the best 1000 to 1 on this channel. Everyone was for the most party super nice and never rude, the people who were voted out weren’t like “I know I’m gonna be out” or “that wasn’t fair.” And for once they didn’t agree this person should get it over themselves when it was down to 3 people. And also the person who won was happy and showed it, in the other ones they were happy on the inside but their faces read “I don’t even care I got the money” like if your not gonna be happy or celebrate don’t even come on the show. If it was up to me I would have had it been pink sweatshirt and black shirt as the final two. I feel like the girl with the striped shirt didn’t really need it. If her parents would buy her storage then she doesn’t need to pay for it. And also I mean cmon “I need money for storage” or “I need money for my mom who’s struggling” who would you give 1000 dollars to?
Maybe it’s just me, but I think the guy in the pink sweatshirt (MLB dream) should’ve been voted out earlier? I mean he’s being paid more than others ($17/hr) and not only that he’s being paid more because of covid ($20/hr), he’s maintaining a job, he’s saving money; I think he’s got a steady start…but obviously an extra $1000 (for free) helps a bunch 😅
It’s so crazy how TEENS the generation that’s supposed to be so terrible be more mature deciding who gets the money better thank the adults that have did this project.
I’m sorry but that girl was definitely capping, ain’t no way in hell her family going through all of that and she still wants to help homeless people, the eye rolling, fiddling. Her story just sounds far-fetched.
Not just that it's 1k. Cancer bills are a lot. Is she gonna give charity only like 300 and then 300 to her mom and 300 to her dad. The fact that her mom is supporting the entire fam and they aren't homeless by now. What job does the mom have? I think the diabetic should've won because a thing of insulin can range from 30-800 and that's just insulin you still have to pay for devices and syringes. And some insurances actually reject type 1 diabetics. Type 1 is childhood meaning your body is more dead than type 2. Meaning why would an insurance company agree to a walking corpse. It's harder for the diabetic community but that's just imo and she's celic.
Also I'm not saying she is lying she can be just over exaggerating. Maybe her dad does have cancer 3 years ago and it stopped. Maybe he did have a business back in 2001. You know? Also she has a job where she works 1 day a week? If it was serious as she is implying don't you think she will help more?
To the girl with celiac- I have it too and I promise you it’ll be ok. My school has a separate like for the top allergens so there’s absolutely no cross contamination through all of prep and serving. I know not all schools have that ,but you will definitely find options somewhere without having to make all your own food. But I totally agree that I would rather make all my own food if I had that choice because the food isn’t the best.
@@supercoolguy466 But also as someone that also has diabetes and celiac. Celiac food is much more expensive and diabetic supplies is a lot. I dont know her circumstances but I doubt that they would continue to cover it all when she moves out.
I think that the fact Josiah has 1K in savings shows he’s good with his money. They should’ve asked about savings more/finances. The other two ladies might blow their money on random stuff

The way they did this too, all of them together just competing for who’s in a shittier situation. Kinda demeaning, I wouldn’t want to do this.
They don’t have to choose who gets the money this way, like it’s not part of the the rules, they could flip a coin if they wanted to. People usually just gravitate towards doing it this way for some reason.

I think the diabetic should've won because a thing of insulin can range from 30-800 and that's just insulin you still have to pay for devices and syringes.
