Love the Pause! Wish it could have thicker walls like the Roamer 1. I dream of the capability to be off grid for power (and be able to run the AC too).
@@ROAOffRoad how many amps does it pull in the summer in Utah at 12 noon set at 78degrees? I saw a video where it was recommended to get a generator to run it (the pause) to top off batteries
Love it, but I have a question. They mentioned you can access it via its (RFC 1918) IPv4 address. But there seems to be an assumption that (in this case, his laptop) was connected to a specific wireless network where that private address was reachable. Can you confirm? Thanks!
Ok Smart Home on off Road Trailer by Garmin thats New and Very Good idea for a System. I think the Customer Should have a Choice if he wants the stabilizer or the Air bags Controlled by this System if he is Not wanting to learn the technical side of these two functions. I think there should always be a manual over ride option inside the truck and the camper in case of emergencies like floods or animal attacks or Weather Conditions. But having the GPS Device has a Main Visual Controller is a Great Idea in this Side of outdoor market. Thats what manny of us were trying to do with a raspberry pi and logic bord and linux commands but near a app was made has a main stream availability. I mean who has time i want to go Camping Oh Garmin is here to backup this idea has System Developer and integration its a Great news. Soon this can be a plug and play option for diy campers Thank you for the Video
Garmin was founded in 1989 with headquarters located in the United States. Garmin first set foot in the aviation industry with its cutting-edge GPS navigation products almost three decades ago. Yes copied and paste,
Nice system, but wondering why RV companies are not teaming up with Google Home or Alexa for system automation? I've been using Google Home for 6+ years and have nearly everything in my house automated, so nothing new here, just new for the RV world, I guess. So help me out, I'm I missing something?
It a race between Garmin and Redarc. Redarc taking a different approach. Garmin trying to push current tech on a new industry... hmmm Time will tell, but for now, Redarc will control my power management and Garmin will provide satelite support.
They should add a way to power the compressor from the tow vehicle. Air compressors don't have very complex circuitry so aren't as likely to be impacted by a lightning strike. Also, I worked in Garmin in remanufacturing in Olathe and they did not treat their employees well. Some middle aged people that had been there 6-10 years were only making $13-16hr. Yearly raises were between $.05 and $.25. Managers kept telling us if we didn't meet quotas, they were going to transfer the division to Taiwan.
I love it. Such a cool set up.

The A/C does run off grid.

Google and Alexa are still stupid.
