How is it that an electronica duo is way more rock n' roll that 99.9 % of the rock bands out there? Groups like this give me faith that good music still exists. Thank you Justice.

Dude. I love Justice and everything, but this video is a piece in and of itself. Someone worked hard to assemble this incredible sound design that I think serves the song and video exceptionally. If you wanna listen to the song itself without sound effects, that's perfectly feasible too. The video is awesome, as is the sound design. :]

After the release of Cross they conquered the electronic music world for like 2 whole years (which is a hard feat considering the abundance of superstars in the genre). And yes, Chet is a little unknow but he's rising in reputation fast, especially in the indie scene. Even my common friends who don't go after unkown artists know a song or two by now (like Gold). But yeah, he should get more recognition (which will hopefully happen this year with The Trouble With Us - it sounds like a hit when it gets discovered by mainstream media)

It's poorly mixed. The sound effects would have been better off turned down at least 25% from there current volume. That way they could still be heard but they wouldn't be overbearing. This is a common mistake amongst novice video producers. Often times the video producers forget to account for the fact that mobile will be the primary way their video is viewed, and cell phones are not always user-friendly for sound quality. This probably sounded great on the PC when they were editing but it sounds poorly on my phone😁. Sounds like a lot of noise being funneled through one little speaker...

Normally with video editors, they don't understand the concept of different levels for different sound sources, so they always end up putting the music and fx at the same level. The issue isn't them editing on a PC with no regard for mobile, it's simply the issue of an untrained ear.
