    Haha that after thought :P both trees are looking amazing too. So glad they arrived safe and well and so happy you like them both, sorry for my mission impossible packaging :P I have a soft spot for the Sekka's and shohin tree's as you know already :) thank you so much for making and sharing the video mate and i am really looking forward to seeing the repotting video's. 5 Star video's as always Iqbal :)

      After publishing I realised that I got that after thought a tad wrong. In real life I came out of Africa to the UK which was the source of the missionaries in Africa. Any way it doesn't matter its just a joke. If you hit the thumbs up on the video, it will show up on your channel as a liked video. I think you ought to have it there as well and you can also add it to a play list on your channel.

      Yours has leafed out fully. Mine is still just getting started. Just shows the difference between the areas we all live in.

      thanks for watching and commenting.

      Hi Jason, I am delighted you like the tree. I must confess, I like them both and I like the Sekka Cypress just a little bit more than the trident maple.
      Will do the repotting as soon as I have the right sized pots for them.
      Cheers

      Nigel is nailing it with those three 3D printed pots, he paints them and looks the real deal. I too watch his videos, he always has a different angle on bonsai.

      Hey Karin
      Yes the trees are beautiful and it was very kind of him. Now every one will want one or even two...lol... Glad you like my humour and made you laugh. for the last six/seven months all videos have a little humour at the end. I have to find the right pots for these trees and will then repot.

      Sir any body u r relative r in India. Form how many yrs u r doing gardening. Frm whom u got inspired Sir. Thank you.

    • @mikbonsai
      @mikbonsai  6 лет назад +1

      No relatives in India as my grand mother took all her family, that is my parents, uncles, aunts to East Africa. We the children are from East Africa and have not had any involvement with India or Pakistan. When I was a child it as standard practice for foreigners like us to send the children abroad for education. I was sent to London and after completing of my education, trained in the London and became a Chartered Accountant, After qualifying, I had got so used to London that I decided to settle here. In East Africa we had lot land surrounding ur house and we had a gardener and as a child I used to mess around with seeds, which always grew. In London after qualifying I bought my first house and made sure I bought the on with a front and rear garden and I started gardening again in London. I guess it was our gardener who I copied and wanted to produce plants like he did, at the time I was about five or six years old.

    Miss you and your videos buddy 😢 I hope you are doing ok and still have some trees

    • @mikbonsai

      Hi Rob, I was ill in 2018 andevery thing took a back seat. I am recovered and well. My bonsai trees is another story, they were watered and that is just about it, they are badly neglected, not repotted since 2017 and some not pruned with long leggy branches. I have started working on the trees and also started making videos for RUclips. Everything on YT has changed and I am have to learn all the pre upload stuff and also editing and improving the videos.
      I still have the two bonsai trees you very kindly gifted me. The trident maple's top half died one winter and I removed it and it is a much shorter tree. I will get round to repotting both the trees some time in the near future.
      Thank you for your support and concern, very much appreciated. I trust you are well and bonsai collection must have grown considerably.

    I am wondering how the "neglected English Elm" you so successfully air layered last year has grown on. It was a courageous move and I was so gratified to see it worked out so well. When you have time, I would very much like to see how you have managed it's aftercare. Thanks and greetings from Alabama.

      Hello Al,
      Thanks for watching and commenting, would love to see more of your comments in the future. The English elm is doing well and has leafed out. I hope to do some more work on it and will do an update and you will be able to catch up with its progress.

    The audio was too low to hear, it happens most of the time in your vedeo. Can you please work on this. It will be nice to learn for beginners like me.

    • @mikbonsai
      @mikbonsai  6 лет назад +1

      Hello Vaman Ji, my apologies, had a few issues with my audio. I also know it happens at times due to technical reasons as I am doing every thing my self. Thank you for the feed back and will be more diligent at the time of the recordings. My channel is for beginners like you. More videos for absolute beginners with zero knowledge of bonsai are planned. so please keep watching and commenting. It is though the comments and inter action that I get to know my subscribers.
