    Nice tree with small leaves, is this grown from cutting?

    • @mikbonsai
      @mikbonsai  6 лет назад

      This specie has very small leaves on trees growing in nature and is for this reason very suitable for bonsai.
      This tree was grown from a cutting.
      Thank you for watching and commenting, good friend.
      All the best

      Hello Deep, indeed, its grown from a cutting, cost is Zero, but takes time to become a mature tree. Bonsai needs patience from all learners and more experienced people too.

    When you cut the branch your hand comes between the camera and the plant

      I noticed that when I was editing. Unfortunately my man behind the camera failed to alert me. There are three more videos already recorded and I have yet to edit. I suspect, we'll face the same issue. I had already decided to vary the camera angle so as the viewers can see close up what is being done. Thank you for watching and your input into the production of these videos.
      Keep watching and commenting.
      Cheers.

    What was that fertilizer that you use?

    • @mikbonsai
      @mikbonsai  6 лет назад

      Hi Cody, In this video I used Chicken Pallets. But I also use Chempak 10:10:10 balanced feed, liquid seaweed and tomato feed for my fruiting trees.

    Unless you have a lot of spare time don't grow Cotoneaster it grows so quickly you need to prune the thing every other day

      Hello Blackadder, great to see you and your comment. Need a cunning plan, you dig. For beginners should be fine and means lot of practice at pruning, hope that plan works...lol.

      Hi Nigel, it is about to come into flower and they will be pink and then it will have red berries. Haven't been asked over to the Buckingham Palace yet, but looking for that perfect round table and a few knights to hang out with. You dig Nigel.
