Hanna I love your teaching style and how you go straight to the point. Thanks a lot! I'd like to suggest creating a video explaining the many different ways to melt candle and their pros and cons. I am still a bit confused on how melting with a hot plate is different from melting directly on the induction oven for example (which I read it's bad because it can burn the candle). Thanks a lot.

I melted the paraffin wax in an aluminum can double boil. The water temperature was higher than 185, so that was messed up but I took it out to cool down once wax melted. I waited for temp to cool to 130. The problem is the wax got solid and the essential oils were too difficult to mix thoroughly. The wax was clumpy as I stirred. I added sandlewood and Palo Santos for a woody fragrance. What is your recommendation so I can mix the essential oil in the wax?

Hello! Yes, with essential oil candles since you have to add the oil at a much cooler temperature it's best to add the color initially at a hotter temperature (185) because the color won't spread and mix as nicely when the wax is a cooler temperature.

Im making 6oz soy candles using essential oils...im having trouble getting them to carry the scent when burning. I'm using 15ml for the6oz. What do you recommend??? Im going on your site to order more oils.

This is glorious, I have been researching "soy candle containers" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Cenadoelyn Candle Contemplation - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my work buddy got amazing results with it.

Hello, I have tried making soy wax essential oil candles with and without blends many times. But I got a burn or ignition-like smell when I lit the candle rather than a fragrance that I blended.
Even tired different essential oil brands...
May I know what is causing that? That will be a huge help. Thank you.

Lower the ratio of oils maybe? I think anywhere above 10% essential oils can ignite.

Hmm..so it is better no carrier oil. I was taught to mix some carrier oil so the EO will not burn easily

Hi! I heard with bees wax, essential oils don't smell as much. I heard to add. O out oil. What's your thoughts and suggestions? Thanks for the video!
