The thing is, every single track in the OST is underrated except OWA. It just blows my mind because one can say that of literally 50-60 tracks in the ost. And you're absolutely right.
Incredible. The whole Sephiroth-in-Smash thing reminded me of my opinion that this track tends to get overshadowed, and searching for it has brought me to this excellent demake. Subscribed.
Incredible work!! Just as iconic and powerful as the PlayStation version. Seriously, if I found out today that they had actually made Final Fantasy 7 on the SNES as well as the PS I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Now this is fantastic. I’m amazed at how well it works. In fact it really brings out the harmonic connection between FFVI and FFVII, particularly reminds of Mt. Koltz. I think I like this more than the original.
Gives all the same "Well, this is it..." feel to it as the original, if not more. I swear this and the theme of the Temple of Chaos in the past were two that truly captured that feeling in musical form.
As much as I love Judgment Day as a final dungeon theme, it doesn't fit Kefka's Tower... Kefka's Tower has a "the world is destroyed, we have nothing to lose, so give your best shot to take down Kefka" vibe. Judgment Day sounds like a sped-up clock, like, "we don't have much time, we should work together to save this world before it's too late, Aerith's death should not be in vain".
There was one final fantasy before the first in the series. It was called Nobuo Uematsus life as a samurai in a fantasy world. How else would have he come up with all this?
I actually prefer this one over the original. Heck, I don't even like this OST (felt it was underwhelming as a final dungeon theme), but this remix is just... something else. The percussion and strings in particular draw me in.
Such an underrated song. My favorite from the franchise

This tune is so fitting for the final dungeon, so to speak, in the game, indeed. It is almost epic, and it certainly is a classic.
This made me realize how much this theme reminds me of FFVI final dungeon theme in Kefka's tower. :D
reminds me of Within the Giant from Final Fantasy IV, in places.
I love the beginning so damn much and at 0:32 is just incredible

The effort put into remaking these tracks is immense. Fantastic work here reimagining these wonderful tracks. FFVII is just beautiful.
This is spot on! Awesome rendition!
You have no clue how excited I was when I saw the notification. And trust me, I'm not disappointed! ❤️
I’m getting the chills from listening to this, Amazing

Wow, this is awesome! Judgement day is honestly one of my favorites from the ff7 ost, and this version I think I might like better over the original 😆
Sensacional,Final Dungeon é nostálgico demais
this is really good
Wow. I did NOT expect to like this better than the original. But I do
This would also suit Kefka's Tower perfectly!

This track is so iconic, could it please be extended?
Sensacional, Nugem!
SO GOOD
My heart leveled up

Let's mosey!
Incredible remix ❤
原作の雰囲気壊してないいいアレンジ
This one sounds better than the PSX version honestly.
I actually prefer this one over the original. Heck, I don't even like this OST (felt it was underwhelming as a final dungeon theme), but this remix is just... something else. The percussion and strings in particular draw me in.
better than the original. What program did you use to make it?
Thanks!
Synthfont and Sony Vegas.

Nice
Honestly Better than the original IMO
This song gives me anxiety
ff7 on snes ! IS THIS REALLY REAL.
No
My name is ledgenigger, I am a cloud main in smash.
So this is what Cloud's Magicant sounds like! Who did this one? Mathew Valente?
Only EX series videos have works by other arrangers and I always credit 'em. When that's not the case, it's made by me.
@@Nugem Thanks for the rundown! Amazing job you did here!
