    Great video. As a high school line coach over 20 years to help the tackler to stay low, I used dip and rip in place of fire the hips. Dip the hips fire the arms around and up around the ball carrier. Same concept different cue. I learned fire the hips and taught that early in my coaching but had some players that were to high, so switched to dip and rip. It worked better for me.

    Coach.. just for my reference those cones look like they're a yard apart and a yard either side of the start point?

    The terminology of wrap is the problem you need to rip through the tackle

    "head out of contact"....gonna miss tackles and runners will run out of plenty too. I know we need to be safe and don't want them leading with the head, but that is why they wear helmets and have facemasks. just my opinion, love the drill and points. thanks!
