Wearing little clothing is not freedom. Freedom is having the choice to wear whatever you want, yes even a headscarf. That is freedom! Nothing more ignorant then telling someone what they can’t wear. I'm American and as long as the woman is not drawing attention to herself then she can wear any color. However the garments must fill the guidelines of covering according to Islam. In no way should a muslim woman beautify her garments to call her to be noticed that defeats the purpose of hijab, rather you get as beautiful as you want under you hijab like most of the women who wear all black do overseas. I 10000% agree, the colors that exists today are so beautiful so why not use all that colors in our clothing? The creator made them all! I was obsessed with project runway when I was younger, and though there wasn’t as much variety even 7 years ago, I’m so happy children can now grow up and be inspired by seeing themselves represented in the fashion industry.
it has become soooooo hard now a days to dress modestly but still wear fashionable clothes and especially being young where you have to be in with the latest trends. so its so nice to see stuff out there for Muslims. Jazakallah Ayana
