Haha, I saw the topic and had to watch. Gotta hand it to you Pastor Bob! You answered this wonderfully. There are a lot of women along with men, who are praying for their life long partner in Christ. And not all women are out there "sleeping around." Most of us feel like guys are doing the same thing. The reality is that is just the majority of the world these days, sadly. Not condemning anyone here. Just saying it's not a lifestyle all of us choose. In my experience, the more we draw on our relationship with The LORD, the more we become refined and mature in Christ. He knows the desires of our hearts and I am believing for everyone who is waiting for that perfect person. God bless!
The advice I give to younger men is “find you a boring church girl”. That might sound a bit back-handed but it’s solid advice. Don’t go thrill seeking in a relationship. Which car will last longer? A Ferrari, or a reliable old pickup truck? The Ferrari might be a lot of fun, but give it a couple years and all the problems start to come out. A pickup isn’t very exciting, but if you care for it then it will stick around for decades.
Hi Vince. Don't lump all Christian women as boring or thrill seeking women. All of us women who have a personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ have n unique personality and we are all different. Find a woman who loves Jesus Christ and puts Him first. I dare to be different than the world.
