I've been slowly building a feather deck! I actually have a Velomachus deck but it's a dragon's approach deck. It's always a blast. Love the series already!🎉
Love the lore that’s included in these! Had no idea feather had a full story, despite only ever having 1 card printed! 100% wait to cast feather until you have protection. And the “draw a card” spells are so valuable!
Feather was the first commander I picked when I started playing mtg like 3/4 years ago, now i've got 4 decks through this journey but obviously this one has a special place in my heart. I've been foiling it since then piece by piece, changing the tech, trying new things and now i'm in process to rebuild her soon, and as always it's amazing to see other's tech to have more options and ideas. Amazing video and I'd love to see her more often in play!
I’m relatively new to mtg and I missed the window to buy the secret lair drop. If I wanted a copy miku the redeemed how much is it going to hurt me to pick one up second hand?
@@bbboijnk it’s not too bad. I missed it too and got the whole first drop for 40 bucks. 10 more than it costed at launch. Looks like you can get just that one card for like 10 bucks on Tcg player.
Agreed that prior to casting Feather you need to protect her. Most commanders are such a catalyst to going off, and I now rarely cast my commander without Boots or Greaves.
Just remember that once you equip greaves to feather you can’t target it with any of your spells anymore since shroud is different than hexproof. That’s why I run boots but no greaves in my feather deck. Haha
@@leonunez9988 Good call, Hexproof is #1 for sure - For me I like putting Greaves out there as well to keep her safe while I build spells to cast, then it's re-equip to another creature, cast the spells, then give her shroud again just in case it's the only option while I dig for Boots :)
really cool deck tech. Feather is a commander i have debated building for a good year now but i already have several decks that are heavily reliant on the commander so i havent yet.
Caught up on both deck techs, great great stuff! Maybe not feasible but It'd be cool to see the other guys featuring a pet deck/commander in the future. Always liked this channel's core group.
@KingdomsTV thanks for the refresher on Feather's history. I'm going to go out on a limb here... Feather is the last of the four-winged angels of Razia's line. Before that, she went by Pierakor (as all of her sisters also went by their own names). Afterwards, she is very clearly distinct from all other Boros angels. Her nickname is very telling.
I like the lore part at the beginning. My first and favorite commander :) I also blink her slowly. And I still missing about 10 cards. I build her as a Voltron so I kill everybody for commander dmg. But I thought to also build 2nd deck for her like you presented here :)
I really love feather.... One of my first edh decks that I've kept. I like your build and am tempted to add some of your ideas but I think I'm going to keep her more Voltron. But your video has made me rethink
Great video! I also have a feather build but it focuses on mass pings with cards like guttersnipe. That said, some cards here are really interesting if I feel like shifting the focus of the deck, so thanks for sharing
I like to try feather in this way.. so far it is part of my exile all permanents after phasing out my own stuff deck.. also anything that does something usefúl and targets a creature on top is great... like destroy an artifact and give +1+1 until eot or those new wilds of eldraine ones that do something and give an enchantment to target creature f.e. but i will need to test out what i like best anyways...
Ive been slowly getting into commander and Feather is the first deck ive built! Id love to find out more about her lore myself though - where abouts can i find this information about her or other commander creatures?
@@KingdomsTV Anax and Cymede Jeskai was my first ever standard deck I brewed myself, and it was exactly the same spell swinging token value deck this is!

Front-loading a deck-tech video with solid lore? HECKING Yes please!
Thanks for all the great content Carlos! Appreciate you!

Leveling up!

I am going to build this with Hatsune Miku.

excellent breakdown and big thanks for the lore and visuals! Loved it!

Agreed that prior to casting Feather you need to protect her. Most commanders are such a catalyst to going off, and I now rarely cast my commander without Boots or Greaves.
Right? It can be devastating otherwise
Yeah I don't cast her unless I have protection in hand and at least 1 mana to use it

I can feel that. I’ve been making slot of combat focused decks lately and I’m not positive why but I’d been fun .
This with a bit of blue can become close to my new Narsset enlightened exile :D
If she had blue too, it would be too perfect

They just reprinted Feather as Miku, the Renowned. Hatsune Miku’s finally on cards in Magic!!!

how will Feather, the Redeemed interact with Flashback and Aftermath cards
As long as it targets one of your creatures it should return
