    congratulations for progress, commentary was good and there's lot of work to do still plenty of room for improvement, keep going, 1000 is reachable if you fix your issue with hanging pieces, your board vision is alright 👍

    To get to 1000, make sure you are doing a lot of puzzles. That helps you spot tactics, like that free knight at about a two and a half minutes into the video. Also, slow down and make sure your pieces are defended before going on offense. Example, you noticed a pawn was hanging, but instead of defending, you did something else, and hoped he wouldn't see it. The higher you get in the ratings, the less you will be able to get away with that. They will see it! GL on the journey.

    good luck bro - as a 600 rapid player myself I am rooting for your success. hardest part for me is not blundering! gotta be locked in the whole game, I heard memorizing the squares helps a lot (a5, e4, etc)

  • @Dozan10
    @Dozan10 Месяц назад +1

    nice video mate
    one thing i learned as a beginner myself is even if that i am ahead, i dont trade material in their advantage (for example when you traded a rook for his bishop), only if its equal or you get a positional advantage
    You were still very much ahead but you are never too ahead :)) good luck on your next milestones

      I have to rewatch the game and see what you mean, but honestly you are right. You are never too far ahead!

    up until 1000 you just have to know the fundamental opening principles (developing your pieces, controlling the center etc.), do some puzzles to sharpen your tactical vision, and (most importantly in my opinion at this level) try to keep your pieces safe - if you make sure your pieces are positioned on defended squares you are likely to avoid blundering them, and if you wait long enough I'm sure your opponents will self-destruct just as your last opponent did in the vid.

      Noted, thank you! I think I made a comment in it during one of these videos but I'm definitely trying to remember to tighten up on these fundamentals

  • @sprayandmiss

    huge props on the mile stone, ik the engine said there were no misses but i find it somewhat inaccurate since you had mate in 2 at around 4:12 by moving the knight to f5 forcing the bishop to block allowing the rook to take resulting in checkmate, i think some more advanced misses like that only show up in game analysis tho, so id recommend doing a self analysis on games aswell but again, props on 600

    there's no secret to getting 1000, you do tactics, then tactics and more tactics. And when you get tired of doing tactics, do more. Congrats! Soon you will reach 1000. ps: when your opponent makes a move, ask yourself the following question: what changed in the position? What is he doing with this thing? it helped me a lot to avoid blundering

    I want you to go back to 4:10. When you have such a nice attack going with that many pieces take the time to look for mating options. Take a second to see if check where can the king go..then ask can I cover that square with the discovered check? You may have already seen it if you did a game review but its good to be aware of coordinating pieces in an attack as good as the one you had set up there. Congrats on 600!

    2:46 here i thought rook d2 was a good move because you check the king and then takes knight then you take bishop and your bishop is atacking his knight tempo can be very strong but very conplicated and risky i am 1000 elo and i think you spot really good moves better than me the point is you just lose attention in 1 sec and lose a piece which is frustrating but u manage to be okay about it i usually scream and resign😅
