    I've got mine a couple of months now. I've really come to love it. Mine is 500D cordura and in multicam. I find it really comfortable.It was way too crazy at the start, but one day I set off on a 19km walk, and it was as comfortable at the end as it was at the beginning.

    Great review mate, thank you. I think the two pairs of rings at the bottom on the shoulder straps are plastic and metal, rather than all metal, to keep the noise down. It would be better also, if the hi vis inside the pack were secured with velcro, they could then be used as air marker panels. Best regards David.

    Also very useful to know that a metal mug and bottle fit the pocket: lots of people refer to Nalgene but few to common UK items.

    Great review.
    I been watching as many video's on this pack that are limited here on RUclips so I can see all the info and functions on it as I will be purchasing the MARK II in OD Green in a week from now from someone I know here in Canada and it will come with both harness systems for a good price of $325 shipped.
    I had the BlackHawk version many years ago. I believe it was called the Sortie Rucksack if I remember correctly, I could be wrong. Many years later I wish I never sold that pack to a guy in Texas, LoL.
    I'm so stoked and can't wait to get my pack and try it out, Cheers Mate.

    I took a huge risk of watching this video, as I'm still waiting for the CF2+daypack combo you reviewed earlier to come back in stock again and I really want to have those, but fortunately this one hasn't got that wow factor 😅.

    • @PreparedPathfinder
      @PreparedPathfinder  Месяц назад +1

      It's a different kind of pack tbh, this is smaller but with more external storage. The CF2 has a better carriage system for heavy weight.

    Oh hell, this is really caving me in, Mr. B. I love my current packs but this is a nice one. I had a good look at it a while back but declined for the time being.
    What a great review and, I doff my cap for carrying it out in the snow.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts and taking the time to produce such a detailed video. I am based in the UK so it’s just about impossible to find out details of US kit, unless someone like you bothers to make a review. Love the location - UK?

  • @Phantom-F4
    @Phantom-F4 Месяц назад +2

    I agree with you.👍 That section of material that goes up against the back of your neck from the shoulder straps irritates me to no end. I will not buy a pack that has it. You see it on the packs that kids use to walk to school. Of course, the kids extend the shoulder straps as far as possible so that the bag hangs about butt level, where the weight in the bag (books) has the most leverage against you. 🤣😱🙄 Overall, I really like that pack.

      @@Phantom-F4 yeah it’s great, especially with the individual shoulder straps.

    Those grommets by the zip, I'd be thinking to use them for paracord sheathing, something to hold scrag and veg for those tactical tesco runs.

    You could use that inner frame sheet with some crayons* to draw sketch maps for ‘O’ groups, save pǐssing around with a model kit.
    This is what they should have replaced the ‘58 pattern large pack with. Stopped a generation of adjutants and RSMs coming up with stupid kit lists to fill a Cyclops Centurion.
    * Paras and US marines will require adult supervision with crayons, as per normal drills :)
