I love this song! This song reminds me of a wonderful young man I meet, when I came to this country he had just come back from the military I was very young too I dance this song with him, he fell in love with me but unfortunately my dad send me and my family back to our country in Mexico.
Years later I came back married a wonderful man. But everytime I hear this song it brings back beautiful memories. 😊❤

I found it 2 or 3 years ago.I was in college that year and just didn't listen to the radio hardly then.

KOMA from Oklahoma was the go to radio station back when, this was one of the songs that got a lot of airplay.
I always thought it was Neil Diamond and I have only just found out that it wasn't until I searched for the rock me gently bit and then I was sure that this guy did a cover version of it but it seems like the Mandela effect is not over yet so I'll probably spontaneously combust if I find out sweet Caroline is this guy too and Neil Diamond never existed!

I grew up in the 70’s every Sunday listening to Casey Kasem top 40 on the radio in my best friend’s garage. After the countdown my friend’s mother would drive us to kmart, we would buy three 45 records for a $1 at kmart according to our top 40 favorites….
I think if you check Andy Kim out, you'll find that he had a very successful career as a singer and songwriter, despite only having the one big hit in his own name.
