Also, he seemed to not be afraid to go to Durban despite the alleged warnings to not go there, this man posted his location meaning his heart and conscious were guilt free and clean, he had nothing to be afraid of as he knew he didn't do anything to Ms Anele. But eventually you can’t. It NEVER ends well. I know it doesn’t sound sweet or romantic but you are not in relationships to save people from themselves. You will die in the process. Just don’t. I think AKA stayed with that girl out of guilt, he felt bad because she was young and unstable and thought he could save her. He was older he thought he could save her even by marrying her. Having said I doubt he was an angel giving her condition.

Under normal circumstances, a 22 year old has no business pursuing a relationship with a 33 year old. Let alone someone’s father, already those people are moving on two completely different wavelengths of life. In my proven opinion, it is always best that a person under the age of 25 explores the dating scene with their peers, while they grow up. To avoid easy manipulation and making nativity influenced decisions. Moses should have never accepted AKA’s lobola, mainly based on their ages. If Neli was 25+ dating a man 10 years older than her, it might have worked. She still had a lot of growing up to do. While being young and immature, she was extremely troubled from the trauma of loosing her mom. Her own family failed to provide her with all the support she needed to cope with the loss of her mom. Hence, the symptoms progressed daily. Moses knew that Neli was chronically suicidal. Moses was present at the Hilton hotel when she pulled a similar number. Moses was aware that Neli was on anti-depressants. Lastly, judging from his speech at her funeral, I suspect that drugs were found on Neli’s system when a post-mortem was done. Assuming that she and AKA had done drugs on that fateful night. AKA loved Neli even in his grave I still believe he’s the only woman he’s ever loved with his entire existence. Hence, he forced so much to make the relationship work. Even though it was evidently toxic to the both of them. He was ready to settle and convinced that she was it. Neli loved him back and very much so, but the relationship was bound to fail tragically. Given, Neli’s volatile state and the difference in the phases of life they were both in. I hope one day Moses find it in his heart to forgive himself for not paying enough attention to his daughter’s psychological needs. I hope he one days accepts what happened, take responsibility for his part and begins his healing process. Finally, I hope he forgives AKA for failing to take care of his daughter after he had entrusted her to his care, I hope they both rest in peace🤍🙏🏽

These two should've never met and fallen in love. Unfortunately, we don't have control over that but as soon as they saw how toxic they are both for each other, they should've called it quits. It is so tragic that everyone involved died in such a horrific way. It is unbelievable how this all ended. It's like a horror movie. May their souls rest in eternal peace and may all families involved find peace and live their days in harmony.

This is a really hard one to comprehend, for someone to allegedly order a hit on AKA without ever being 100% sure that he was responsible for Anele's death is the most evil thing to have done. There are innocent people all around the world imprisoned for crimes they did not commit because of powerful people seeking blind justice. The probability that she committed suicide is much higher than that of AKA pushing her. AKA dated a few ladies previously but we never really saw that kind of drama, until he was with this girl. Its really not that hard to see that she was not ok. AKA should have walked away. For his own peace and sanity. Love or not as the more matured one in age, in the relationship, he should have walked away. Every person involved and responsible for AKA’s gruesome killing must never find peace. Their decision and actions must haunt them until they come forward and confess. People should not be playing God with people’s lives. May they both rest in peace. 🕊️

My view is as good as yours. Take yourself in theTembes shoes, the least they expected was AKA's affair with Nadia to be highly publicized soon after such a tragic death of their daughter surrounded with a lot of questions. AKA's life seems to full of cheating. So sad, Anele was young to accept such a tendency, unlike DJ Zinhle. With such a track record of cheating it could have been a matter of time before he could do it to Nadia as well. May their souls rest in peace. Both died knowing what happened to Anele.

You are a great story-teller. My 2cent comment - 1) I thought it was normal and fair for the family to have expected AKA to have gone down to check on their daughter. If you truly care for someone, your first response is to check if they are okay. 2) Anele shouting leave me alone, could also mean AKA was trying to stop her from jumping or harming herself. 3) Also, people who have attempted to commit suicide before, are more susceptible to trying again. 4) I don't know if the rumour is true that Anele' mum also committed suicide, this rumour sufficed after anele' death so if it's true, it shows a mental illness issue within the family lineage. It doesn't make sense that one would die from an illness to be later rumoured to have committed suicide? 5) The father also didn't exercise wisdom about nature of their relationship ( though text sent to AKA that the daughter was dramatic), which implies he was aware of daughter's issues. 6) It's a true tragedy on both sides, they gravitated towards each other because of the brokenness within themselves. Sadly, money and fame heightened the toxicity to another level. Just my opinion
I agree. Society does tend to idealise- one party is 100% good and the other is 100% evil. Drugs actually explain most of what we see during the entire relationship. I think that on the night it happened they were both using drugs. (1) they went to a club in CPT (2) they somehow managed to stay up THE WHOLE NIGHT (3) his actions after she fell were completely irrational whether he pushed her or not - he seems totally out of reality (4) Mental illness and drugs can both cause paranoia, she becomes convinced that he’s cheating and neither of them are in the state of mind to discuss it calmly. They also cause suicidal behaviour- especially when you come down, like at 7am when you used them between 10pm and 11pm the previous night👀 It actually wouldn’t be surprising to find out that they ONLY argued when one or both of them used drugs. She got paranoid and he got angry.
I was going to comment something similar but I saw yours, might be unpopular opinion but Anele seemed to suffer from emotional dysregulation and poor coping skills. A lot of people have extreme emotional reactions and unfortunately our African cultures don't acknowledge this enough. Just like Anele's dad refusing to accept that she certainly needed therapy. I suspect she died by misadventure thinking AKA was close enough to save her before she jumped. People with emotional dysregluation also do this to punish the other person in the relationship with the supposed guilt of their death. AKA's reaction sounded like he went into immediate denial about Anele's death and he sounds scarred. Tragedy all round.

In fact SAPS refused to take a statement from the first-hand witness Steffanutto who heard the words of the argument (including her shouting “no leave me alone”) and who stayed with Tembe for the 20 minutes that she was still alive. From this video. Clearly the girl's dad showed her unconditional love since birth, and she was used to it. Then she met a hip-hop artist and fell in love. But she needed to differentiate the unconditional love from the dad and the kind of love she'd get from AKA. The kind of love AKA was offering was like a contract type and not unconditional. unconditional can only exist between parents and children and not spouses. Spouse kind of love is a business decision type. I personally feel she was too young for a serious relationship and no one even explained to her that adults need to learn to let go if things aren't working. AKA's mistake was to pursue her after the rehab without explaining new conditions to how grow ups should behave. And they both needed counselling from church (catholic)

No one ever does give signs of suicidal thoughts if they do, they are not paid attention because we believe in them as strong and exceptional but they still kill themselves. Especially in a family that believes you are golden. You can be one person to the family, another to the friends and a totally different person to your partner.

My opinion is Anele threatened to jump and because by that time she had thrown the ring at him and because she had threatened suicide before he dared her to do it in frustration. She then started taking her clothes off as a delaying tactic hoping he would stop her, probably saying ‘ you think I’m joking , this time I will do it, I’m tired of your whoring ways’ then aka might have said do it I don’t care, we are done anyways. She didn’t intend to and he didn’t believe she would, and on a split second because she was already emotionally unstable and triggered she just went for it and he couldn’t believe it. Bit now to tell the world that story he would have looked bad. This is just my theory, as it doesn’t make sense to me to jump naked.

I think aka proposed, hoping to pacify her about the cheating, as apparently she had found messages in his phone to Da Les wife before the lobola. 4. Her dad had to know she was suicidal from her first roof top episode and my gut feelings is that her family is who called the hit on his life because they blamed him but from in the video of asking for her mom is a HUGE red flag to her mental health. It's a shame she need mental help and there was none to order a hit to take his life was so wrong on many levels.
You don’t have to die to go to hell… hook up with the wrong person for you. It’s hell ok earth. And no matter how hard you try to make the wrong person the right person… it never works. They were wrong for each other. Being wrong for each other doesn’t mean either we’re inherently bad people… they were just bad for each other. The price they both paid is huge.

It's sad because we will never really know the truth of what happened. Sure, AKA had a chance to give his side but we dont know hers. But if I'm to judge just from the interview he did, he appeared to be genuinely distraught about losing her. He may have acted oddly, but in the circumstances, maybe a lot of us would have done the same.

Toxic relationships will never become better the best thing is to leave, yekani and heal and move on without each other, the fact that she attempted to jump once before should have been a major warning sign for him to really end the relationship for each other's sake and safety. Really just sad how things ended.

In 2021, there was a video circulating about an interview with AKA after Anele's death. This video was not the original video. In the video someone analysed AKAs reaction to her death and thought her death was fishy. At the time 8 watched it, I felt that AKA was too detached for someone who just lost a girlfriend, in his presence 😳😳🤯🤯 I was shocked 😲 It so happens that I read up on this girl's father. When I did, I couldn’t help thinking that he touched a hornets nest. Especially since that father is from Mozambique. Mozambicans men and their daughters are something else. I wish I had recorded myself. I remember saying to the people then, back in 2021, that this is not going to end well. I then gaslighted myself by saying AKA is a huge celebrity, 8 doubt anybody would dare. A year and some months later, I realize that I was right. Even immediately after his funeral. I remember mentioning this incident to someone and saying I wonder if the child’s father had a hand in it. Turns out rumor has it... I know what I am about to say is politically incorrect but I will say it nevertheless. How I wish I had a father or a brother who would settle the score for me. I am of the opinion that if fathers and brothers did what is rumored about Anele's dad, GBV would materially subside. I know I am probably not right in my heard. For, I was happy when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock. Why was Chris Rock making fun of Jada to begin with? Men hold the title of protectors. Yet, so very often, they are the ones we must be protected from. Strangely, they always get away with it... OK not always always. But they mostly do.

Just to point out, Tibs had been hired to cook at a friend’s 40th birthday dinner on Saturday, that’s why he had flown to J:berg. The guy said he told Tibs to meet them for drinks at a bar and he texted back “I’m going to meet the child (apparently that was his nickname for aka) , he’s in Durban and he’s in Florida Rd, I will meet you guys after”. Those guys when they found out they made their way to Florida and stayed until 3am when the bodies were removed.

I feel AKA did not do it. AKA knew the kind of father Ms Anele has, the money & influence & connections. I think he wouldn't be dumb enough to push her and have to suffer grave consequences like hide and look over his shoulders for the rest of his life. He moved on with Ms Nadia and didn't hide it. Also, he seemed to not be afraid to go to Durban despite the alleged warnings to not go there, this man posted his location meaning his heart and conscious were guilt free and clean, he had nothing to be afraid of as he knew he didn't do anything to Ms Anele.

Unpopular opinion - it never ends well when you date chronically depressed / suicidal or people with medical psychological / mental issues. Usually you think you can fix them. Under normal circumstances, a 22 year old has no business pursuing a relationship with a 33 year old. Let alone someone’s father, already those people are moving on two completely different wavelengths of life. In my proven opinion, it is always best that a person under the age of 25 explores the dating scene with their peers, while they grow up. To avoid easy manipulation and making nativity influenced decisions.
Moses should have never accepted AKA’s lobola, mainly based on their ages. If Neli was 25+ dating a man 10 years older than her, it might have worked. She still had a lot of growing up to do. While being young and immature, she was extremely troubled from the trauma of loosing her mom. Her own family failed to provide her with all the support she needed to cope with the loss of her mom. Hence, the symptoms progressed daily.
Moses knew that Neli was chronically suicidal. Moses was present at the Hilton hotel when she pulled a similar number. Moses was aware that Neli was on anti-depressants. Lastly, judging from his speech at her funeral, I suspect that drugs were found on Neli’s system when a post-mortem was done. Assuming that she and AKA had done drugs on that fateful night.
AKA loved Neli even in his grave I still believe he’s the only woman he’s ever loved with his entire existence. Hence, he forced so much to make the relationship work. Even though it was evidently toxic to the both of them. He was ready to settle and convinced that she was it. Neli loved him back and very much so, but the relationship was bound to fail tragically. Given, Neli’s volatile state and the difference in the phases of life they were both in.
I hope one day Moses find it in his heart to forgive himself for not paying enough attention to his daughter’s psychological needs. I hope he one days accepts what happened, take responsibility for his part and begins his healing process. Finally, I hope he forgives AKA for failing to take care of his daughter after he had entrusted her to his care, I hope they both rest in peace🤍🙏🏽

You are a great story-teller. My 2cent comment - 1) I thought it was normal and fair for the family to have expected AKA to have gone down to check on their daughter. If you truly care for someone, your first response is to check if they are okay. 2) Anele shouting leave me alone, could also mean AKA was trying to stop her from jumping or harming herself. 3) Also, people who have attempted to commit suicide before, are more susceptible to trying again. 4) I don't know if the rumour is true that Anele' mum also committed suicide, this rumour sufficed after anele' death so if it's true, it shows a mental illness issue within the family lineage. It doesn't make sense that one would die from an illness to be later rumoured to have committed suicide? 5) The father also didn't exercise wisdom about nature of their relationship ( though text sent to AKA that the daughter was dramatic), which implies he was aware of daughter's issues. 6) It's a true tragedy on both sides, they gravitated towards each other because of the brokenness within themselves. Sadly, money and fame heightened the toxicity to another level. Just my opinion
I agree. Society does tend to idealise- one party is 100% good and the other is 100% evil.
Drugs actually explain most of what we see during the entire relationship. I think that on the night it happened they were both using drugs. (1) they went to a club in CPT (2) they somehow managed to stay up THE WHOLE NIGHT (3) his actions after she fell were completely irrational whether he pushed her or not - he seems totally out of reality (4) Mental illness and drugs can both cause paranoia, she becomes convinced that he’s cheating and neither of them are in the state of mind to discuss it calmly. They also cause suicidal behaviour- especially when you come down, like at 7am when you used them between 10pm and 11pm the previous night👀
It actually wouldn’t be surprising to find out that they ONLY argued when one or both of them used drugs. She got paranoid and he got angry.
AKA was never broken. He was a whole and complete person.
I was going to comment something similar but I saw yours, might be unpopular opinion but Anele seemed to suffer from emotional dysregulation and poor coping skills. A lot of people have extreme emotional reactions and unfortunately our African cultures don't acknowledge this enough. Just like Anele's dad refusing to accept that she certainly needed therapy. I suspect she died by misadventure thinking AKA was close enough to save her before she jumped. People with emotional dysregluation also do this to punish the other person in the relationship with the supposed guilt of their death.
AKA's reaction sounded like he went into immediate denial about Anele's death and he sounds scarred. Tragedy all round.

Not at all. There is a lot of evidence by the private investigator and a forensic scientist and the witness Rob Steffanutto that SAPS completely ignored. In fact SAPS refused to take a statement from the first-hand witness Steffanutto who heard the words of the argument (including her shouting “no leave me alone”) and who stayed with Tembe for the 20 minutes that she was still alive. Forbes did not even bother to try and help her, he was cleaning up the blood in the room with towels. There’s much more. Some of the details are in a reply to kimikoza9445’s comment.

From this video. Clearly the girl's dad showed her unconditional love since birth, and she was used to it. Then she met a hip-hop artist and fell in love. But she needed to differentiate the unconditional love from the dad and the kind of love she'd get from AKA. The kind of love AKA was offering was like a contract type and not unconditional. unconditional can only exist between parents and children and not spouses. Spouse kind of love is a business decision type. I personally feel she was too young for a serious relationship and no one even explained to her that adults need to learn to let go if things aren't working. AKA's mistake was to pursue her after the rehab without explaining new conditions to how grow ups should behave. And they both needed counselling from church (catholic)

No one ever does give signs of suicidal thoughts if they do, they are not paid attention because we believe in them as strong and exceptional but they still kill themselves. Especially in a family that believes you are golden. You can be one person to the family, another to the friends and a totally different person to your partner.

My opinion is Anele threatened to jump and because by that time she had thrown the ring at him and because she had threatened suicide before he dared her to do it in frustration.
She then started taking her clothes off as a delaying tactic hoping he would stop her, probably saying ‘ you think I’m joking , this time I will do it, I’m tired of your whoring ways’ then aka might have said do it I don’t care, we are done anyways.
She didn’t intend to and he didn’t believe she would, and on a split second because she was already emotionally unstable and triggered she just went for it and he couldn’t believe it.
Bit now to tell the world that story he would have looked bad.
This is just my theory, as it doesn’t make sense to me to jump naked.

2. The guy heard arguing and Anele saying leave me alone, I believe this was Aka initially trying to stop her from going to the balcony/window
3. I think aka proposed, hoping to pacify her about the cheating, as apparently she had found messages in his phone to Da Les wife before the lobola.
4. Couples mostly fight about money and cheating, we know money was not an issue for these 2.
5. Anele had a history of mental health issues and thus easily triggered and depending on her diagnosis volatile, unpredictable and attention seeking.
6. Aka came across as passive aggressive and I think he had his own issues to deal with. When she was saying in one of the vedios “you don’t know what he’s doing to me” that’s very telling. I think he was gaslighting her a lot.
7. He was Co parenting with Zinhle and Anele might have been insecure as he had gone back to her after Bonang, and their relationship also started as an affair behind Zinhle, so she might have been really worried about that
8. Things that would have triggered Anele is aka saying it’s over, I wish I hadn’t left Zinhle, you are crazy why would I pay lobola if I didn’t love you, it’s all in your head, you shouldn’t have stopped taking your medication, I’m tired of your drama what more do you want from me, just jump and take us both out of your misery, I can’t live like this anymore, etc
9. Then finally as she stood on that window ledge, hoping for him to declare his undying love and say that he would never hurt her again, he might have said, do what you want to do Anele I’m not going to stop in your way anymore and then BOOM 💥 she was out right in front of his eyes.

Her dad had to know she was suicidal from her first roof top episode and my gut feelings is that her family is who called the hit on his life because they blamed him but from in the video of asking for her mom is a HUGE red flag to her mental health. It's a shame she need mental help and there was none to order a hit to take his life was so wrong on many levels.

My Take: Clearly Anele's relationship started while AKA was Zinle, she would be insecure. She got depressed & commited suicide. I doubt Anele's family had AKA killed, but it has everything to do with their daughter's death.
It's sad because we will never really know the truth of what happened. Sure, AKA had a chance to give his side but we dont know hers. But if I'm to judge just from the interview he did, he appeared to be genuinely distraught about losing her. He may have acted oddly, but in the circumstances, maybe a lot of us would have done the same.

Toxic relationships will never become better the best thing is to leave, yekani and heal and move on without each other, the fact that she attempted to jump once before should have been a major warning sign for him to really end the relationship for each other's sake and safety. In 2021, there was a video circulating about an interview with AKA after Anele's death. This video was not the original video. In the video someone analysed AKAs reaction to her death and thought her death was fishy. At the time 8 watched it, I felt that AKA was too detached for someone who just lost a girlfriend, in his presence 😳😳🤯🤯 I was shocked 😲 It so happens that I read up on this girl's father. When I did, I couldn’t help thinking that he touched a hornets nest. Especially since that father is from Mozambique. Mozambicans men and their daughters are something else. I wish I had recorded myself. I remember saying to the people then, back in 2021, that this is not going to end well. I then gaslighted myself by saying AKA is a huge celebrity, 8 doubt anybody would dare. A year and some months later, I realize that I was right. Even immediately after his funeral. I remember mentioning this incident to someone and saying I wonder if the child’s father had a hand in it. Turns out rumor has it...
I know what I am about to say is politically incorrect but I will say it nevertheless. How I wish I had a father or a brother who would settle the score for me. I am of the opinion that if fathers and brothers did what is rumored about Anele's dad, GBV would materially subside. I know I am probably not right in my heard. Just to point out, Tibs had been hired to cook at a friend’s 40th birthday dinner on Saturday, that’s why he had flown to J:berg.
The guy said he told Tibs to meet them for drinks at a bar and he texted back “I’m going to meet the child (apparently that was his nickname for aka) , he’s in Durban and he’s in Florida Rd, I will meet you guys after”.
Those guys when they found out they made their way to Florida and stayed until 3am when the bodies were removed.
