Dope trick me I think I would put the compressor before the desser tho so it can tame the the sound after being compressed, but hey whatever works we love your sound that’s why we watch.

This was great. I can really use the ideas in my chain. Do you remove the highs and lows from your original vocal channel? I was wondering if you have to leave them in to do the crispening? I'm mixing a female singer, later this week. Can't wait to try this!

Wow sounds so good! Hmm why is it that the high pass filter you put on the aux track (bus 8) doesnt suppress the tone in your voice? I mean the chain you set up on the regular vocal channel strip has to go through the bus before output right? :)

Ever consider Ableton? For the longest I wasn't a fan. I thought it was more for live performances & DJs and conformed to the workflow of other DAWs but more & more of my peers were making the switch and these were hardcore FL, Logic & Cubase users. They'd clown me..."damn, you still on that? Come to Ableton, that's where the big boys/gals play". Then someone wagered that I couldn't create on Ableton & took on the challenge and glad I did...it was an eye opener. I know that it doesn't matter what gear & DAW you use, it's the end result is what matters...totally true BUT if you could get to the final destination on a direct flight as opposed to one with layovers wouldn't you take that route?
