I think you should include a demo on how stable the tremolo system is. The most stable tremolo system that i've experienced is on the JP6 guitar. Easy tuner locking and vintage looking bridge. This beats all other tremolo system including Ibanez's. It is quite a shame that the starstream does not have a version with pickup switch blade placed just like a fender strat. A toggle switch and placed behind the volume pot suits a certain group of players.
I was thinking about getting one on looks alone.....but couldn't Vox make it sound better??? I'd have to gut the thing, put in some real pickups and use real outboard effects.
MSRP is $1099, but most retailers sell it for $799, which isn't bad, considering all the on-board effects. The downside is not many stores carry it, unless you live an the area where Vox actually supplies them or are willing to have one shipped to you from an online store. That's where I'm hesitant. I'm open, to a certain extent, with having a guitar delivered. The problem is I want to physically pick one up and play it first to see how everything feels and I'm unable to do so unless I want to visit a neighboring state.
metaltom2003 so have you play it? i wonder if is it's still good with a couple pedals... exactly how professional is it. If this is a guitar you buy and can do wathever you need in your band, etc.
weird and wonderful. A novelty the world doesn't need? I think not Vox cant compete in the Strat/Les Paul copy market, so find a niche I think the sitar and synth stuff is a try too far. Should have modeled some more relevant guitar types, like famous models or pickup types.
Nice demo. Very nice playing, also!
Can you tell me what song you are playing at about 13 seconds in?
