Then that’s 5 kids vs an entire classroom, and if those bullies could win in those odds then they wouldn’t be just targeting one girl minding her own business
Pete, what is your opinion on the psychological motivation for bullying? I have a theory but it refers to two academic papers so I hesitate to try to paste their URLs in case my comment would be misclassified as spam. They are: "Mindsets of a Leader" from MIT Sloane, table 1 with mindsets across the top axis, and Bugental (2000) "Acquisition of the Algorithms of Social Life" table 1 on p. 192
...anyway, if you can find those, my inference is similar to the study from about a decade ago which suggested bullying is a peacocking signal of sexual superiority intended to enhance the bully's reproductive prospects at the expense of those of the bully's victim(s), but I am compelled to include the caveat that those results were considered controversial.
Damn as a former massive bullying victim seeing this just made me burst out in tears of joy. Omg
really love this scene think the handling of bullying in this game is awesome.
Pete, as I expected, my attempt to include the citeseer url for Bugental (2000) was silently deleted
Definitely heart-warming scene but what if the bully straight up beating everyone in the room and still prey on the victim regardless?
