Paul Barnett was a key creative lead in the creation of Warhammer Online and when we got together to chat, Paul had some terrific legends to share from behind the scenes at Games Workshop.
We talked about some of the most interesting anecdotes collected from Paul’s time working with the greatest Warhammer creators and the stories they shared over beers and years. The origins of the Chaos Dwarfs, grumpiness in the design studio, and the fabled Bryan Ansell memos make for some incredible tales!

Great interview - a lot of fun and very insightful about the culture change after Ansell’s departure. It was probably a needful change but you can’t help looking back with misty eyes on the crazy goblin green GW of that time.
