I love these side by side comparisons....great job. I’ve just ordered the B20 as my first ‘proper’ drone after buying and using second hand drones ( big mistake 🤦♂️🤦♂️ I tried to save money but ended up having of issues with them so just decided to spend a bit more money and buy a decent brand new one).....I’m not too fussed with picture quality as I don’t own a 4K tv, nor will I be using this for say a photography /filming business...it’s just for fun and to take on holiday etc.....must admit I love that it is soooo easy to use...the ones I had were first gen versions that were useless, had little to no stability and would get blown around in the most gentle of summer breezes.. I have little to no experience as all my previous drones were more ‘toy grade’ and useless to try and control for a newbie like me …I wish I hadn’t wasted money on a that and saved and got this back then…..anyway I did a lot of research before buying. The only reason I chose the 20 instead of the 12 was the 20 was a bit cheaper when I was ready to buy. In terms of set-up it really is as easy as this and other RUclips videos show. The controller / drone picks up the satellites extremely quickly - I have no previous drone to compare it to, but from what I’ve seen others have said on forums etc, it is literally a few seconds before you get enough satellites/ signal to start flying. The deal I got mine with gave 2 batteries, but it’s easy to get more. I found I was getting about 20min flight time so but then that’s because I’m new to this so I spent a lot of time trying to get used to controlling the drone (so practising landing / taking off, messing about with the different modes etc) more than actually flying it anywhere. I must admit it, it really is a brilliantly easy drone to fly…I was able to do basic manoeuvres like ‘panning shots’ , 360 spins etc very quickly and by the 3rd or 4th flight I was taking it up to 115ft …I’m in the UK and by law (depending on the type of drone) we have certain height limits we can’t fly above, as well as certain places we can’t fly over. But this make and model really is very very good - both to set up as well as to use. In terms of picture quality it really is good - I’m not someone who needs to have the latest 10Million K / 10D OLED type camera nor am I bothered by all that …however the camera focuses itself perfectly and the aperture adjusts itself almost immediately when moving from direct sunlight to focusing to areas of shade….I have had comments from others who own much better drones say how they were impressed by the quality of the camera when they realise how cheap the drone is compared to more expensive models. I have had 0 issues so far, unfortunately living in the UK means the weather isn’t always great (windy and raining at the moment) so I can’t fly as much as I want to. Only two things to bear in mind are the B20 can’t do is collapse it’s arms - so unlike other drones which can fold up and slide into your back pack, you will need to get a bag to carry the B20 around in (if you don’t want to use a standard rucksack). Secondly, when you power up each time, you have to go through the set-up calibration process ….it doesn’t take long - you literally spin the drone around a few times …but maybe I am being spoilt because this was so quick and easy to fly, I am now getting impatient that I can’t wait a few seconds and do this lol…but like I said, it doesn’t take long and for me, isn’t a big deal as that’s the only ‘niggle’ I can think of…everything else is perfect for me. can anyone confirm, are these drones much more POWERFUL than the MJX bugs 3?? i know the bugs 3 is lower spec but seems it has a lot of power with its gopro carrying capabilities.
