I have tried the same method with the measurements. It was fluffy until i add vanila extract, after i add the frosting turned runny. I beat about 10mins but it dnt work, then i popped in the fridge for some time and beat dnt work. Then i added icing sugar it turned out of constancy. It looks like a bit thick and runny
What brand of Vanilla Extract did you use and how many teaspoons of Vanilla Extract did you add in? Sometimes if the Vanilla Extract is too watery, the consistency of the buttercream can change slightly but not massively. I am surprised that it was runny Did you add the Vanilla Extract before you added the Icing Sugar?
@@TwistyTaster I have used RedMan brand and 1table spoon. Actually im getting the same issue frequently! This time i tried ur recipe n the method n still the same outcome. I add the vanila after adding the last batch if icing sugar and mixed them properly.
@@aaracakery I doubt it is the vanilla extract. If you are seeing this issue frequently, then you should probably change the brand of butter you are using.
Yes you can use margarine instead of butter but it will alter the flavour and the texture of the buttercream. If you cannot use butter for any personal reason, then yes, you can use margarine. If not, I suggest you use butter for buttercream 🤗

Is the 10g for vanilla 2 teaspoons?
Yes, that’s right 😊
How long do we need to whisk after adding the double cream? Is it 10 seconds, or 10 minutes?
It is 10 seconds. I have made a typo in the video... sorry about this. I have mentioned this under the description box. 😔
Please can I use margarine instead of butter?

Convert to cups please? Thank you !
Salted Butter - 1 Cup
Icing Sugar - 4 Cups
Vanilla Extract - 2 tsp
Double Cream - 4 tbsp
I hope this helps 🤗
Thank you 😊
Can I use unsalted butter instead of salted butter?
Yes, you definitely can. I use salted butter to balance out the sweetness of the buttercream frosting. 🤗
What brand of double cream did you use?
You don’t need to use a specific brand. I used a basic one in my recipe.😊
Is this buttercream cream stand in hot weather?
Yes, this is very stable in hot weather and I have used it many times for my cakes and cupcakes during summer and have had no issues. 💖
Appreciated for your prompt replied.
👍
Convert to ML pls
Vanilla Extract - 10ml
Double Cream or Milk - 40ml
The conversion is the same from grams to ml.

Do not use margarine it will not taste right
Avoid margarine cause the oil content will alter the taste and make it hard to pipe
