@@kathyk2777 - good question. I don't think dogs think like humans do. However, whether or not they register teasing as we do, I think teasing is a bad habit best avoided, no matter the species of the recipient.

We had a Husky mix that would say "Who are you?" 'Where are you?" And "How are you? Once we were calling for my son and heard him calling "Joshuuuuuu wa!!!!" It was hilarious. We had him at the vets and he "cussed" the vet out. Everyone heard him howling.
