It has always surprised me that there are no heating elements in those sensors, or any other front-facing systems for that matter. You would say that manufacturers are aware that when you're driving through even the slightest snowfall, all front-facing surfaces get covered in snow/slush rendering them useless... Same goes for the new LED headlights. In the olden days the halogen bulbs generated enough heat to melt ice buildup over time, but the new LED ones generate practically no heat, making them also quite useless if you have no headlight washers installed.
Exactly 👍🏽 it’s quite annoying! And up here it’s 6 months of cold 🥶 not even the cruise control works!! I drive with cruise and the right foot on the brake to be quicker when animals comes up on the road!
@@krim1988 yes Josh! And thanks 🙏 for watching. Both the winter and summer rims but I’ve learned that they stopped making 19” rims ☹️ sadly I couldn’t find bronze colored summer rims!
We ordered FWD TitX Tourneo version - and based your input, I am still on nerves, if I did the good or bad choice. FWD vs AWD and whether panorama roof (because it was part as "luxury packet" with heated rear seats..) was good or wrong choice. :/ As we're in middle europe AT,SK,DE and we don't see much snow here anymore, I really hope I will not miss AWD. If you managed to live with FWD Renaults for years... Or am I wrong? :) Thanks for another nice video about this car. There's not many reviews of FTC (whether transit or tourneo). One correction (probably from older video) - it's entirely Ford built, but VW had it's must-have points, that Ford had to take into account when developing this platform.
Thanks Michal!🙏 Awd is a bit overhyped, at least if you mostly travel on ordinary roads and the fuel economy is a joke!! Sadly! I managed with fwd for 16 years now and we have a LOT of snow ❄️ I did go for awd now when i accepted to take jobs even more up north and I have plans to go on more distant trip up the mountains so🫣 let’s see how that goes! I’m making my quick shift weekend camper on the transit now😅 and probe the rooftent market for a nice one. I think you have made the right choice but don’t make my mistake and not putting ppf in the front!!! Seems to be a really bad lacquer
@@michalxo Stone chip protection, Stone protection film, Paint protection film or PPF (Paint Protection Film) are all different names for polyurethane film that protects a surface from mechanical damage. Hi ersin! Only in wet in slippery snow ❄️ and really icy conditions! So far it feels really good 👍🏽 I had 2 occasions which I had to use the off-road mode and it managed to pass without any problems! So, so far good I must say 🤞🏽👍🏽
