    Finally, a fitting occasion for the tune Green Hills of Tyrol! A dreary, plodding, tune at a funeral. A lifeless tune for a lifeless hero.
    Let the parades have their lively 6/8s and 2/4s. Let us relegate the Hills to these sad events.

      I believe it was supposed not to look too formal and as everybody entered church afterwards they would have taken it off anyway.
