      @bankaimaster999 7 дней назад +2

@@Billiy2610True therefore I am certain they will restrict a majority if not the main features from coming to the S24U for two reasons:
      1. Most of those features are tied to the SD8 elite chip (higher tops/better GPU/CPU, etc.)
      2. To make the S25U more relevant of a upgrade since the running statement is "well most of the features are coming to the S24U anyways". Well if it's only a few minor features and optimizations but the S25U gets all the big ones and even more optimizations then that statement would be almost irrelevant.
That's what I think Samsung would do but the main issue with the S-Pen thing isn't just the removal of the Bluetooth. People are mad that Samsung didn't innovate much and started to take away hardware features (even though people didn't use it as much, it was still useful to have as an option) but give more boring AI software features. It doesn't set a good picture for what else they might do to consumers, for example, maybe they remove the S-Pen and charge people separately for it or get rid of it altogether and make the ultra series like iphone pro max, being just a bigger phone.
Samsung will definitely bring the Bluetooth back in the S26U, since the main reason was lack of use but now we have "public outcry" against this move 😅

I bought my first Galaxy Note in 2012 , I loved that phone , every year Samsung not only improved the phone. , but added more features !
Back in those days , wireless charging as far as I’m aware was just not available, my Galaxy note 2 had terminals in the battery compartment which was swap out in those day , and you could buy a kit to attach to the battery with a new battery cover which gave you wireless charging ….. how cool was that !
My Galaxy note 4 which was the year Samsung bought out 2 different Galaxy notes , one had the conventional case and display , the other had the very first waterfall display , the Galaxy note of that year as well as the usual head phone jack , as the SD card , super amoled 524 PPI screen , plus the finger print sensor , S pen , an UV sensor , heart rate , Sp02 sensor , barometer, S voice , Air gestures , swap out battery , IR blaster , plus all the accessories in the box , this my friends was a Galaxy note.
If we look at todays S 25 ultra , and compare it to the Galaxy note 9 which imo was truly the pinnacle of Galaxy notes with nearly every good common sense feature except IR blaster , it was truly a great phone , and it not only came with ton of features , it came a all the usual premium Galaxy goodies you expected in the box and more !
As a B long time Galaxy note fan , I have nothing but disdain for Samsungs marketing strategy to make the device at every opportunity cheaper and cheaper .
To me the glory days of Samsung are done .

Am i the only one actually happy Samsung is using top of the line processors in the entire line for all markets?
Everyone's raging about the s-pen, im just glad i won't have to deal with that Exynos junk anymore, my sister has an Exynos S24 and its garbage.
Now the entire line has a brand new processor, improved coolers, they benchmark alot higher (base S25 scores better than the S24U) and they have retained the pricetags. I am seriously happy about that, i think this is why they tried cutting some corners and the S25U's pen was a casualty. Kuddos to Samsung to react this way after the deserved Exynos backlash. The S25 Plus is a serious iPhone contender this year with the same chip and memory as the Ultra.
Im definetely upgrading this year after my S9 Plus and S21, which are my main work phones. I may go for the Ultra for the upgraded wide camera sensor and the extra 5x telephoto but the S25 Plus is looking good. Yeah, the cameras haven't been upgraded this year but i think the chip is more important.

Dude it boils my blood how majority of the people just got ok with the removal of all those things. Samsung also used to provide an IR blaster. That was useful to control home appliances like AC or TV. I hate how we have lost all these features in phones.
Battery was made irreplaceable supposedly to make the phone water proof. But that is bs since samsung themselves has in the past made a waterproof phone with replaceable battery. The reality is that they wanted to make money on battery replacements or make the phone obsolete when the battery dies.
The 3.5mm jack was supposedly removed because it was taking a lot of space. But the Spen doesn’t take space? And I'm sure more people would care about 3.5mm jack than they care about wireless charging or Spen. Reality is that they removed it so that they can sell their overpriced Bluetooth earbuds.
The IR blaster was canned because Samsung wanted to sell smart devices
Removable media was canned because Samsung wanted to upsell on phone storage.
Fucking hate how electronic gadgets are so unfriendly to consumers these days.

It was Sammobile...that's where I saw the 'Stop Crying' article. You can't name and shame but I can. We 'cried' over the vibrancy of the display for the S24 U last year as well till Samsung added the software feature to adjust vibrancy as pleases the consumer. Let me tell you, what's holding me to Samsung is One UI and their displays. And NO I don't get those deals...all they are offering us is 200 euros for our old phones and double storage. I can get at least 400 euros if I sell my S23 Ultra on FB marketplace. My S21 Ultra went before I even had time to post it 😂, All the tech I sell is like New.

I inserted the S Pen from the Galaxy S25 Ultra into the S24 Ultra and all the Air Action functions worked on the S24 Ultra.
In other words, the S Pen itself has Bluetooth and battery built in, the software to control this is just not in the S25 Ultra for some reason.
And since the battery was at 100% charge, it means that the S25 Ultra definitely has a built-in charging unit as well.
Did Samsung engineers forget to include the software to control it?

Personally i'm sick of this AI... We need more practical features at least for now such as BT feature on S pen... Faster charging speeds and a bigger silicon carbon battery. More upgrades in cameras like vivo is doing with its x200 pro. More MP on telephoto lenses. A new design maybe.

Me personally I do not use the pin a whole lot. But that is why I buy the Ultra phone models because I like having the option of having a S-Pen yes I don't use it all the time but I love having that option that I got an S Pen when a lot of people don't have it.
And and having Bluetooth capability on this pin I remember when that future came out and that was one of the reasons why me and a buddy of mine end up buying the phone because that.

Samsung keeps taking away core features that distinguishes their phones from the competition while maintaining the same specs year over year. It shouldn't be the case that a Galaxy note 9 save for the SOC should be more advanced technology-wise than a modern-day flagship.

    Or
    Cut the S26
Use the specs of the of the S26+ and call that the S26
    Then have the S26, S26 Ultra(without pen) and S26 Note(with pen)
They could also go for a whole revamp with the lineup and names

This sounds to me like Samsung is ready to get rid of the S Pen altogether. It wouldn't surprise me if the S26 Ultra has no S Pen slot at all, but will sell an expensive S pen if you want one to make even more money. Samsung has become super greedy, short-term profiteers with very little innovation, just like Apple. I'm ready to dump Samsung for a cheaper and premium android phone competitors.

I was absolutely in the market for the s25 Ultra, but the spen fiasco was a deal breaker for me. I don't use it often, but on occasion it was handy in the past as a remote for the camera on various trips and vacations. I'm not expecting Bluetooth to come back to the spen, so probably I will have to accept it at some point, but still. I'm from Austria (not Australia), and we never get the deals like shown in this video. All we get is the upgrade to the next storage level. No Buds. No 50 $ or EUR for registering as interested in the phone. An on top it's more expansive here to begin with. Whatever. My s22 Ultra with some broken pixels on the screen will have to be good enough for another year it seems.

Whether the users use it or not but the stylus S pen signature note series like features need to be hold its legacy from its predecessor. Please Samsung understand the logic the difference which i have made in s21 ultra and s25 ultra.

And like when they tried to cancel the Note but then returned it in S Ultra.

Samsung listen carefully this needs to be next years additions and improvements...
    S26: 1440p display, 4300mah, 256gb base storage
    S26+: Anti-reflective display, improved vapor cooling, 5000mah
S26 Ultra: 5,500mah battery, 512gb base storage, 16gb RAM and satellite connectivity.
This isn't asking for too much, I think it's really reasonable and definitely do-able!

I'm happy sammy removed bluetooth, charging brick, and headphone jack. I never use the pen (wish they'd remove it altogether tbh...one day maybe), i have a million charging bricks already all super nano small, and I have bluetooth headphones. I'd much rather have the cost savings (remember, it's you the consumer who pays for extra features, hardware, etc. so if you get no value from it you should want its removal)
Yes, I realize it's not a popular opinion, nor am I saying this was a good or bad business decision, I'm simply giving my opinion. And yes, I'm upgrading from 24U to 25U because I like the new rounded corners and improved chip.
    My final wish list is:
    Remove pen altogether
    Bigger battery (silicone carbon)
Replace 10MP zoom camera with a 50MP 25X zoom (imagine how good really zoomed shots could be)
Improve main camera software (faster shutter speed, better processing, better video, etc)

This is like you are kind of going towards the old S series, I think Samsung will launch s26 without s pen itself and will say nobody uses it, and also that will help to reduce the thickness. In my opinion, if you want to keep S pen, give as many features as possible if not new features keep the same functionality at least. And if you want to save 2$, then remove the whole s pen thing and make the phone more thinner and lighter.
