I mean, yeah, the last one sounds pretty strange, considering how many wild rats must be killed by other animals, but recently there was a rat that got mauled by a dog and was hiding under a car for two days, so the people who saw that were impressed by her will to live and called help for her. She lost both her hind legs, but after her stitches healed up she can move pretty quickly and now found a home as a pet rat (of course, her owners know that she is a wild rat and handle her accordingly).
