Well at least you hair hair is still in your head and you still have your natural curl pattern. I have been thinking about dying my hair brown but I am terrified of damge. Thanks to this video I will probably tomake the professional route. I love your lipstick color! Great video
The purple shampoo is not strong enough. You honestly need to lift it just a little more but only use a 20vl developer and leave the color on for 15 mins then get a level 10 color That has a blue or purple base and mix equal parts with a 10 vl developer and leave it on for 25 mins. I wish I could do your hair for you I love doing color correction.
Most of the time the reason why your roots dye lighter and take the color better is because the heat from your scalp processes it faster. I read somewhere that it's also because it's new growth and it takes better? Idk lol I always start 1 inch away from the scalp then come back to it and it always works out for me. It didn't turn out too bad! Hope your correcting process goes well!
use a color remover. clairol has a good one. it will pull the color out to about a 30/40 volume bleach look. then deposit the color. it should work. deposit from the length if the hair first then when you start seeing the color appearing on the hair,apply to the roots. the roots produce heat which is why the color is more vibrant in the roots area. you can use a 20 developer. I'm not a license professional.. but I'm in beauty school
I actually like it. Had u not said anything I would have thought u meant to do it that way. I dyed my hair jet black for purpose to have black yarn braids. Then I got bored and dyed it brown but only my roots are brown. I like it.

Use a ash toner the brown/red tone is going to stay in your hair and youre going to need a toner to tone the brown out thats what i had to do

Don't use an ash to tone your hair. The undertone of ash is green you need a toner that is blue or purple to get rid of the brassiness.
