As someone who gets extensions constantly to actually keep my actual nails intact (I’m anemic which makes my normal nails extremely fragile & prone to breakage without extensions), these tasks are normal & also it just takes getting used to. If it’s your first time, start slow and just have it slightly longer than your actual nails.

Totally understand the frustration with long nails. My manicure sessions is usually once a month which sees my nails growing to a good 2 cm. Typo errors on messages, opening a can with a spoon as lever and baby's poo stuck to the nails is parts and parcel of being vain.

yoo as someone who has worn extensions b4 if u wanna open a can use a spoon or fork n put the handle of the spoon into the tab of the can n push it against the can to open but fr i hated when i had to wash my hair n my extensions came off cuz of that (cuz mine were press ons)

9:14 - For me i like to hold the chopstick, top part wth my index and thumb, the other chopstick rests on my middle finger, so it won't be blocked!
9:38 - OH GOD DO NOT- I REPEAT DO NOT USE YOUR LONG NAILS OR EXTENSIION THEY GONNA BREAK. use a spoon. Or knife. or fork. Pry it up, release the pressure in the can, then use your fingers to open all the way!

I've had slightly long nails. and there is one thing that long nails can affect., WRITING, with a pen and paper! THE NAILS LITERALLY DIG INTO YOUR PALMS.
So if you see someone with long nails, give them some help if they need it. Please XD

Tried putting nail polish, no extensions, just nail polish on my nails to try once, and by nightfall at the end of that same day, I had grown so irritated by the strange weight on my fingers that I peeled the nail polish off [side note: my first time trying nail polish, so I didn't know the existence of a miracle liquid called "nail polish remover"] X'D
YAH I UNDERSTAND! it felt like there was something trapped between my nails and the layer of nail polish and i hated it

when opening cans , use spoons !! my nails are usually long ( i dont use extensions ) and broke them before so since then i use spoons aoanwosjsks also its so impossible to scoop out vaseline for me too ( like your wax ) , *stress moment*

The first time i got contacts a lady walked in with 3 in nails took out her old contacts and put on both new contact all in less than a minute...then my short ass nails struggled to put then on for 2 hours and I basically got kicked out
