Woah, that was easy. Thanks for making the process a little less scary for us first-timers!

An easier way of installing is to place the new pads on the caliper attachment bracket, either side if the disc, before installing the pin. Check that the floating ends of the pads are located in the spring tabs then lower the caliper over them and install the pin.

Never let the caliper dangle off of the fluid hose, this places undue strain on the hose. Always support the caliper with a wire hanger off the muffler or something.

You should. Just don't get it on the pads or rotors

@@coffeeandcarbide98 with the heat at the brake pads that copper grease could end up anywhere

I'm having a problem with my rear brake sliding bolt/pin the Allen head bolt one after I did all the work it started to come losses and it calliper wobbles even tho the bolts are tight.

I would disassemble everything and look over it again. Check your threads to make sure the bolts didn't cross thread which could make it feel tight but the bolts aren't all the way home.

You're so smart. Never thought I'd come across someone so intelligent. Oh rear brake master, teach me your infinite wisdom on this excruciatingly complex job. My brakes must have not been working the last 50k miles
