Theory: Aokiji was working with Blackbeard undercover as a member of SWORD. Blackbeard figured this information out somehow and waited for his moment to leverage it. Therefore, when the opportunity to capture a member of SWORD (a.k.a Koby) arose, he used Koby as a bargaining piece. Basically, he threatened the life of Koby in exchange for Aokiji to acquire the poneglyph from Big Mom's territory. In essence, Aokiji's plan was figured out and now he has to do something to save Koby's life because he is a fellow member of SWORD, a friend of Aokiji, etc.
This makes a lot of sense
Yo i like this idea, and if the main reason for aokiji leaving the marines and joining blackbeard is just for this thing alone, i wont have any complaints lol. Plus that would just be some crazy thing to plant in the story so many years beforehand (sth that we know GODA tends to do).

yeah I feel like Bonney will be one of the most loved and important characters in the final saga. If BB gets Mama's road poneglyph through Aokiji and Wano's and Zou's poneglyphs through Law it would put him as close as luffy to the One Piece, and if the last road poneglyph is really in Whitebeard's hometown I bet the Sh vs BB pirates fight will be there

So I don't think he actually cared which one it was, he was confident that if he caught them off guard, he and his crew could handle it. Which also leads me to believe that he doesn't actually care about Law's fruit. It could be an added bonus but he is here for the poneglyph rubbings, for sure.

Law's crew are literally just there for emotional support.
Law might become a hostage just like Koby. However, I think it would make sense if the Strawhats were informed by Bepo, or someone else, about Law and Koby being captured. Both of them mean a lot to Luffy and I could definitely see how he would want to save them immediately. In addition, SWORD obviously knows that Koby has been captured but not everyone in the Marines/WG knows that he is part of SWORD. This could then lead to the collaborative effort of the Strawhats and SWORD to confront Blackbeard's crew together since they have a common enemy they want to defeat. Also, if SWORD is actually the "good version" of the Marines, then they would already know that the Strawhats can be trusted to a certain extent given their accomplishments. We would also get to see more about SWORD's organization if the Strawhats actually teamed up with them to battle Blackbeard and his crew.
Edit: If this does turn out to be true, it could be said that the Roger & Garp vs Rocks battle could be reenacted here in some way since pirates and marines are teaming up. Also, I feel like this confrontation would most likely happen after Luffy has all of the road poneglyphs. As Ohara said, Blackbeard might try to bait him and I think we all know that Luffy wouldn't hesitate to save his friends.
Blackbeard knew who was coming out of Wano. He was either lucky to get there in time after the Big News or he has his own information network (Kuzan?) . The scariest scenario is if he goes after big mom and Kaido’s fruit after their devil fruit using the gura gura to force open wanos border or just the magma pit.
He probably does not want to risk a Waco invasion though, since he only wants the rubbings from Kaido’s ponyglyph
Actually Low had 3 RDP as we know 1 from Zoe and second from big mom as brook make the copy of that and 3rd from wano in that case BB gonna get all 3 of them and i don't think Low gonna give him his DF but might be get bitten too badly

I also like how oda revealed how usopp is going to defeat van augur. In the movie he revealed that usopps father has a really strong future sight haki. And usopp as the brave warrior of the sea will overcome his father in strenght and haki and become able to predict where augur will teleport.

What if Law uses Scalpel on Blackbeard and destroys his heart but still doesnt die from it, then Blackbeard reveals he has multiple hearts also and for that reason showing why he can also hold multiple fruits.
But if one heart gets destroyed he would lose one devil fruit.

@@ifraahhussein Law isn’t a yonko. The current yonko are Luffy, Shanks, Buggy and Blackbeard. Law still isn’t yonko level as well, he’ll probably get there soon though.
I said this on BDA's video, but assuming Pudding DOES awaken her ability to hear the voice of all things, which she hasn't according to Big Mom, it will be as useful to BB's purposes as it was to Roger's: hardly any at all. The only reason he was able to use them was because he had Oden, who was specifically trained to read AND write the ancient language (without the WG on his tail).
Her biggest use will be through her fruit. All BB has to do is overpower one of the many other roger pirates (Scopper Gabon, anyone?), and either have pudding reach into their head and steal the info (location of Laugh Tale), or take her fruit and give it to someone who will.
A flaw with this plan is the assumption that Pudding's DF abilities could easily be nullified by someone with great Haki (will), and it's safe to assume that Roger's old crewmates have great Haki.

What if, just imagine, what if the writer decides to let shanks to fight blackbeard in this place. I know we are all waiting for this, and hoped his entrance will be much larger than the current situation. But remember, this is the last arc of one piece, shanks has to appear sooner or later (and the movie "Red" has already foreshadowed his entrance in the near future). Blackbeard's crew is strong, but currently they only have 5 members. Shanks plus Law's crew might very well defeat, or at least kill some of Blackbeard's crew

I always thought that Shanks has an ulterior motive and is not a good guy. I mean he sacrificed his arm to save Luffy. It was blatant manipulation on the highest degree. So I never truly liked him.
But now it could also look like he has planned for Blackbeards plan. This would also perfectly work with his visit of the Gorosei -> The pirate he was talking about was Blackbeard and not Luffy.
I really hope this is the case and Shanks is hiding the last Poneglyph from Blackbeard and not that he has other selfish motives as that would be a huuuuuge let down and ruin Shanks character for me.

we seem to be forgetting that law is basically known throughout the whole story for being an escape artist when you really think about it.... he manages to get out of every single tight spot at the last minute.
But not with Doflamingo and Fujitora.. 5v1 is to much for law knowing that there's a DF user that can teleport his crew and do you think that they dont have any advance observation haki in BB's crew? The only way law will be alive is someone will help him..

Facts. The man waited 2 years for the new generation to come and beat the Reigning Monsters Big Mom and Kaido. All this time he got stronger and didn't risk his losing his forces. GENIUS
Don't forget that Blackbeard plan could easily failed during his time at Impel Down if not the help he got from Siryu. So, luck also play a major role to his plan since at first he is planning to capture Luffy in order to become Warlods, however Luffy got away to the sky islands and he meet Ace instead. So Ace is not part of his plan to become a warlods, its just a coincidence since Ace was hunting Teach at same time. Blackbeard even offering Ace to join his crews since they are in same division at Whitebeard ship.
Theory: Oda didn’t reveal through Robin that Koby was captured by mister Zehahahaha (BB) to Luffy so that he wouldn’t go. But Oda waited until Law got captured by Black Bearded so Luffy could have more of a reason to go to Beehive so the SH can get fourth Load Ponegliff.
I am pretty sure, the reason Teach has to murder his crewmate instead of stealing it was because Tatcth probably ate the devil fruit, so the only way for Blackbeard to obtain DF was to kill his crewmate and do whatever he does to obtain the df
Nah I don't think thatch ate the fruit. Blackbeard just wanted to kill Thatch to get his hands on the fruit quickly and because he had no more reason to stay in the WB pirates anyway. Also, I dont think Devil fruits reincarnate to nearby fruits but to a random fruit somewhere in the world.

Thoery: Three blackbeards are acting individually in the manga right now…
I think that since 3 blackbeard theory is so famous i thought of a possible situation that blackbeard we saw going against boa and the one who recently went to face law in chapter 1063 are two different blackbeards. I think there’s a possibility that blackbeard can detach himself into three people and go back to being three person in one body again. Cause, the crew members he went to in both the islands were completely different and the timeline of the both events were very near or almost same. I think we will again see blackbeard going against someone else with his remaining crew soon in few chapters which will be ofc the third blackbeard. I think oda intensely showed him with different crew member at both the places and the third place is coming soon.
proof is that blackbeard in chapter 1059 has clearly 3 teeths missing while blackbeard in chapter 1063 is cleverly shown with only 2 teeths missing.

There's a theory that actually law set up blackbeard in a trap and the guy wholl come to ambush is Drake , and it's gonna be 2v1 , but for this theory to be true , there's another major theory from the past that needs to be true ie ( law is in sword )
Two mistakes
1) Blackbeard didn't plan to take WB's from the beginning. His initial plan was to become warlord and he targeted Luffy. Infact, he offered Ace to become member of his own crew which suggest he didn't plan to trigger MF war.
2)Teach didn't ambush law because he is weakest of the trio. He said "I knew one of you will show up here" so he was ready to ambush anyone of them who will take that route - Moving North from wano and it just happens to be Law

I always feel like when it comes to Law using he Eternal life surgery thing he would more likely use it on Robin than Luffy. It could be a situation where Robin is hurt bad by CP0 or something and Law knowing that she is too valuable to lose as she can help Luffy reach the One Piece through the poneglyphs, I think it'd make sense. As to why not swear his allegiance to Luffy instead of sacrificing himself? IDk, maybe he's hurt badly by Blackbeard and decides he wants to save the girl he clearly has a connection with. It might even explain why Robin doesn't seem to really age in the Perfect timeline that Oda drew for her. Just a thought tho

I don't know if I'm convinced with Blackbeard purposefully orchestrating the conflict between the Whitebeard pirates and the marines. He talks so often about how destiny plays a major role in his success, which basically is him admitting that his accomplishments are more attributed to luck than his planning.
That isn't to say that he gave no thought to his actions, but I definitely don't think he's the master strategist that a lot of people seem to believe.
I think it's a mix of both. He clearly plans a lot ahead, but his plans also involve luck. For example, he wanted to capture a pirate worth a high bounty to join the shichibukai, but didn't plan for the pirate in question to be Ace.
And the degree to which he plans ahead is already enough to call him a master strategist imo. And a madman too.

@@victordeluca7360 Well, the point I was making is that he's more reactive than strategically. He would have had no opportunity to steal Whitebeard's fruit if not for the situation with Ace, where we both agree that he did not plan on, and captured due to luck.
Everything came together in a perfect storm for Blackbeard. Ergo, his reliance on destiny.

So when Kuzan killed Saul the move he used was called time-capsule, just this much information is shocking enough for me and I read in that theory that he is now free and from the ruins of Ohara he somehow figured out the location of the last poneglyph or anyhow he knows or has the last poneglyph and that he is the man marked in flames

Completely unrelated to this video but I was thinking, the three shadows over Florian triangle remind me a lot of Imu, specifically after we saw their eyes shine red in the recent chapter. Made me think maybe there's not one but three Imus, one of each with a different power which affects the direction of the world they're facing; the one we saw in Florian triangle had a power to create thick fog, the one facing the way to Lulusia has the power to erase islands, and the third has either an unknown power or something we've already seen and we haven't noticed. The florian triangle in itself could actually be the triangle formed by the three shades of Imu (note how we can only see the eyes of one, and maybe the size difference isn't size, but perspective) , which may guard something crucial in the lore.
But doesn’t Law have 3 ponegliphs already? He’s got the one from Zhou since he was also there with Luffy, the one from Kaido and also the one from BM because Luffy shared it with him at the end of Wano arc for contributing to defeat the Yonkou

Me and my roommate were talking about the Blackbeard/Law/Koby situation and came to a grim conclusion. Law is dead, his final contribution (and honestly only thing left only he can do) will be exposition about Blackbeard during the fight before ultimately being killed.
He has to die because Blackbeard needs his DF. Not for himself, but so he can make someone do the immortality surgery on him. Which bring me to Koby, he wouldn't give the fruit to one of his commanders because they need to be alive for the final fight. A cannon fodder crew mate wouldn't have to aptitude to master the fruit fast enough so what does he do? Kidnap an up and coming marine who he believes he can manipulate and strong enough to control the power.
Long story short: Law gives expo on BB and his body, BB kills and steals fruit to make Koby use the immortality surgery on him.
That would kill Law and Koby in one action. I don't think it's good writing to kill off two friends of the protagonist at the same time
@@Cha0S_Hybr1D or is it the perfect way to test how far Luffy's resolve has grown. Not necessarily a good idea to kill off an MC's family either. But when Oda does kill someone it's usually for a huge reason. And I never said he would successfully get Koby to cooperate. Law is the only one I'm saying is dead in this situation. Koby still has character growth and a reason to live. Law has kinda ran his course, even as a fan favorite it makes sense that this is the end of his journey.

Support characters purposes are not always to reach their goals. Sometimes it's just to push the MC to their fullest potential. Law could easily die, smiling, knowing that Luffy will figure it out and that would be good enough for him.

I know many people theorize that Blackbeard somehow is 3 people in one, but what if there are multiple blackbeards roaming around at the same time. Him being in Amazon Lilly (pre new world side of the grand line) and almost instantly appears infront of Law who split off from Wano, deep in the Grand Line? That is a rather long way to travel quickly.
it is not instantly... it is stated in the manga that the Amazon Lily fight was serveral weeks before him meeting Law

My theory: SWORD was tasked with discovering the One Piece themselves. Aokiji was the one to convince Blackbeard to capture Koby. Aokiji´s real goal, however, is to connect with another member of SWORD in order to get the One Piece.

regarding aokiji, i think theres an additional piece of motivation that would go in tandam with the 3 ideas you brought up. Specifically, he has always been connected to robin, and more specifically, Ohara. His friend, Saul, died there as well. And given how ohara was a major turning point for both aokiji and akainu, him wanting to figure out why they had to go that far would make sense. And the only way to do so would be to figure out the lost history, and find out if there was any point to the destruction of ohara
Also. Law has a copy of the road ponyglyph from zou. He wouldn't need to track it down thanks to beppo.
I think Blackbeard will get all the poneglyph from the Law and then Red Hair pirates will come to fight with Blackbeard.

I'm not surprised that Blackbeard would lure Luffy, by capturing his precious friends especially when his bounty was talked most in the world. That's something the Blackbeard Pirates would do. I can imagine Sanji would disagree with this at first, until he hears Pudding's captured. Knowing Sanji, he'd do everything to save a lovely lady. I remembered in the Dressrosa arc, when Doflamingo captured Law, Luffy chooses to step down the tournament and save his best friend. Luckily, Sabo was there and takes his brother's place. Such great memories, it'll be kinda funny when Law insists they're enemies, Luffy doesn't listen. 😂😂
Of course there's also Sabo and Revolutionary Army, also have score settle with Blackbeard Pirates after they'd destroyed their base.
One thing, blackbeard didnt choose law specifically. He mentions in that chapter that he waited for any of the three captains (luffy law kid) knowing they would arrive at this next island he just happened to choose the same island as law
Blackbeard is strong, but he has never been able to defeat any of his the other big fishes as the Yonkou, the Admirals and even old Rayleigh himself.
His real strength comes from his opportunism, which has allowed him to weather the waves of the new era in his favor remaining on the sidelines of the battle for supremacy of his enemies and at the same time steal the spoils of victory, and his knowledge of Devil Fruits, which is to him like having a detailed catalog of weapons and an unlimited debit card with which to equip his men with powers suited to their combat abilities.
Finding Law is another stroke of luck for him, a succulent prey that he can come away with immensely strengthened.

Great video. After learning what Blackbeard has done so far, I am stating to get the feeling if any of these actions are somehow an attempt to lure Luffy! If so, then I fear that this could be a trap that Blackbeard has planned in order to acquire Luffy's DF, which he may have learned is actually the most ridiculously powerful one of them all!
Now I don't know how changing someone's gender can really make someone sick. But if Law can take on a feminine form (even for a brief moment), then I wonder if we will get something like that from Luffy, since I believe he should use his awakening to do that?
I don't really expect Law to win against Teach, but I don't believe that now's the time for Oda to kill off another important D carrier like Law. So it is possible that Blackbeard will keep him alive for the time being. However, if Luffy & the others do learn what Blackbeard did to his fellow Supernova, then this could be a more appropriate reason for him to go after Teach than for the sake of saving Koby! Like I said before, the Marines wouldn't be happy that one of their best officers was saved by a pirate (whether an Emperor or not). And I also fear that Luffy's desire to save Koby would risk making the Kuja tribe question him since the recent attack on their homeland (which Koby was partly at fault for) pretty much made them more cautious with men than before.

I don't think Blackbeard is as interested in Luffy as we make it out to be. Blackbeard would have indicated that he knows something about Luffy's fruit a long time ago, because if he knew it was so powerful, why would he aim for the Yami Yami no Mi for so long first. It would also be a bad plothole if he somehow found out about it when Luffy's fruit is one of the government's best kept secrets, probably only possibly known by the Roger pirates at most.

i think kuzan has actually teamed with law rather than teach. it was law's plan to attack big mom so he must have had information regarding pudding and poneglyph. Kuzan thinks one piece and lost history will be important in the future and of all the worst generation, law seems logical enough to team with kuzan.. as seen most of the time teach goes with his crew rather than sending someone alone.

Blackbeard in the chapter said he had no idea of knowing who was coming to the island, so he wasn't waiting for the "weakest" one of the three, he was just waiting in general

the whole blackbeard & law fight in my personal opinion will end with Kid/someone else arriving and helping law and his craw to escape,
the point is its just a demonstration of what to come next and to welcome us the readers to finale saga, and its going to be FIRE

I was really convinced that Blackbeard would take robin for the Poneglyphs. Catarina Devons fruit would have made them able to take her unnoticed, but hasn't been relevant. Kuzan being on his crew and having a past with robin hasn't been relevant either. I really thought they would take her and she would purposely lead them to laugh tale knowing luffy and co would be in hot pursuit leading them there as well.

You do know when bb was on Amazon lily Luffy was fighting kaido and that ended around the time both fights were over and bb left with to beehive island got different crew mates dropped Coby off (notice Coby isn't there) got other crew members to jump either law Luffy or kid

This is gonna sound crazy but I think there’s a chance this sets Law up to join the straw pirates. Blackbeard attacks, Law is on the verge of defeat but his crew, which idolizes Law, urge him to retreat since they don’t want Law’s fruit to fall into Blackbeards hands. Law reluctantly does so and effectively becomes solo. Wanting to rescue his crew, he joins Luffy. The precedent for both a Warlord and a former pirate captain to join Luffy’s crew isn’t unheard of either; Jimbei was both a warlord and a captain beloved by his crew, yet he ended up joining Luffy’s crew directly. Again, total dart-throw of a theory but Law’s seen too much screen time for him to just be a secondary rival to Luffy (at least secondary when compared to Blackbeard or Kidd)
Jack Murphy what role in the crew would he fulfill then? I think everything Law can do now for the SHs he can do only as an ally.

Here's my theory: shanks is on his way to laugh tale. Does shanks want to be pirate king? No, I doubt it. I think Shanks is going to laugh tale to gate keep it. Which means, if Teach gets there first, this is where shanks will try to stop him. If Luffy gets there, well maybe the same thing, but friendlier.
I also have a theory about haki, and that when you get to shanks and Roger's level of haki, it starts to kill your body. I think shanks is close to dying, from the same thing that took Roger. The haki they output is beyond ridiculous, so that's what I think

Teach gets too much bad repute for no reason, he is by far the least brutal villain in One piece. He tries doing his things with the least brutal way. He saved Drum kingdom from Wapol, He defeated Ace who wanted to kill Blackbeard but still Blackbeard didn't kill him, he again had to defend from Bonny who attacked him, he still didn't kill her, he was involved again in Rocky port incident clearly on the side of Law, Coby (who is referred as a hero just like Garp did after God valley). Kid has been portrayed more brutan than BB as he was killing people who was begging him to let them go to paradise. The only people BB killed, he needed their devil fruits and were pirates
Teach started an entire war where thousands of people died so I wouldn't call him the least brutal.

Ok, so what if Aokiji saved Nico Olviaback in Ohara. If he was working with Blackbeard for a while now, Blackbeard can already read the poneglyphs. I always pushed the idea that Olvia is Luffy’s mom. So perfect opportunity for Luffy to meet with Dragon and go after Blackbeard, both to save Olvia and to get the One Piece before Blackbeard!!

I think people under estimate Stronger's devil fruit. Yea, flight is an aspect but actual mythical Pegasus powers go into realms of the Mortal and Immortal realms and can create elemental attacks or support moves like creating water streams from it's hoofs and thunder from it's wings. I feel like the whole aspect of tricking Moria to come to Blackbeard's set up is to get a devil fruit that can potentially bring back the dead and Stronger's abilities to go through realms could be a crazy new plot aspect. So, we could potentially see Ace return but as someone who would be fighting against the Strawhats as some cheap mind trick or even the Pirate King and Yonkos who are supposedly dead with Whitebeard. I kinda don't want this to be in the story aspects but if Oda can do it correctly it could have huge emotional, dope, epic and huge story payoffs for the entire story going back to emotional flashbacks of those characters and even potentially the Void Century (Joyboy deep dives, aswell as the entirety of Imu and Celestial Dragons). The premise even has the aspect of Xebec showing up in the story legitimately if he was truly dead. I only think it could work well in the story because of how Oda writes out his story and there are HUGE plot points that still need to be explained that were hinted at literally decades ago.

What i think would be interesting is if magma brat was apart of sword as well. Given how close garp and sengoku were despite being radically different men with very different ideals on how to handle things, i think we can see that with Aokiji and magama brat.
Maybe Kuzan didnt bring pudding and the poneglyph to bb, but brought Pudding to a safe place where bb wont find her, since he knows his plans?
